DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Colonial Healthcare, Lake Zurich, Illinois, is being awarded a $6,188,600 firm fixed price contract for medical/surgical supplies under the Prime Vendor medical/surgical program. Approximately three hundred proposals were solicited and six were received. Work is expected to be completed by February 28, 1997. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity (SP0200-96-D-7117).

ARMY

ITT Aerospace Communications Division, Ft. Wayne, Indiana, is being awarded a $5,165,754 firm fixed price contract for 20,000 handheld remote control devices used with the Single Channel Ground & Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS). Work will be performed in Ville Saint-Laurent, Canada (85%), and Ft. Wayne, Indiana (15%), and is expected to be completed by December 26, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on October 31, 1995, and two bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command, Ft. Monmouth, New Jersey (DAAB07-96-C-C008).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Heeter Construction, Spencer, West Virginia, is being awarded a $2,000,000 increment as part of a $9,425,842 firm fixed price contract for construction of approximately 22,300 LF of earth levee, 1,250 LF of mechanically stabilized earth wall, and 2 single-swing-gate railroad closure structures for local flood protection. Work will be performed in Moorefield, West Virginia, and is expected to be completed by February 12, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 39 bids solicited on July 24, 1995, and five bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore, Maryland (DACW31-96-C-0022). NAVY

Electric Boat Corporation, Groton, Connecticut, is being awarded a $1,468,800,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee letter contract for development of design and technical documentation for the New Attack Submarine (NSSN) Program and long lead time material for the lead ship of the NSSN Class. Work will be performed in Groton, Connecticut, and is expected to be completed by December 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity. (N00024-96-C-2100).

Hughes Aircraft Mississippi, Incorporated, Forest, Mississippi, is being awarded an $11,524,233 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with firm-fixed-price provisions for engineering support to provide retrofit kits to modify the Mk660 Mod 1 Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) to upgrade it to the Mk660 Mod 2 ATE in support of the Heavyweight Torpedo Test Equipment Upgrade Program. Work will be performed in Middletown, Rhode Island (65%), and Forest, Mississippi (35%), and is expected to be completed in January 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with three proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, Rhode Island, is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Systems Research Laboratories, Incorporated, Dayton, Ohio, is being awarded a $14,500,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for scientific and technical analysis support for the National Air Intelligence Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Contract is expected to be completed January 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 37 firms solicited and 3 proposals received. Solicitation began June 1995; negotiations were complete January 1996. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-94/D-0013).

Raytheon Company, West Andover, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $140,612,689 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract to provide for Lot Ten production of 623 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAM). Contract is expected to be completed November 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Approximately 68% of this effort supports foreign military sales to Korea, Turkey, Norway, Denmark, Greece, Germany, Sweden, Finland, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.
