AIR FORCE

Raytheon Systems Company, Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $43,267,330 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 3420 MXU 650/B Air Foil Groups, 2245 MAU 169 H/B Guidance Control Sections, and associated data, in support of the GBU12 Paveway II Laser Guided Bomb. Expected contract completion date is July 1, 2001. Negotiation completion date was May 2, 2000. Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill AFB, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42630-00-C-0005-PZ0003).

University of Tennessee Space Institute, Tullahoma, Tenn., was awarded on May 19, 2000 a $10,000,000 (not-to-exceed) indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide for research and development support through May 18, 2005 for aerospace ground environmental testing at Arnold Engineering Development Center, Arnold AFB, Tenn. Expected contract completion date is May 18, 2005. Solicitation issue date is March 31, 2000. Negotiation completion date was May 12, 2000. NAVY

Ingalls Shipbuilding, Inc., Pascagoula, Miss., is being awarded a $41,629,492 cost-plus-award-fee contract for providing follow-on yard services for the DDG 51 Class AEGIS Destroyer Program. Work is to be performed on Pascagoula, Miss., and is expected to be completed by May 2001. Contract funds in the amount of $2,925,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-00-C-2302).

Raytheon Systems Co., Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence Data Systems, St. Petersburg, Fl., is being awarded a $34,193,000 fixed-price contract for to procure six Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) Low Rate Initial Production USG-3 Airborne units. The CEC Airborne Common Equipment Set Provides a high capacity data exchange of detailed senor information from multiple platforms to the aircraft carrier's command center and surface combatants for enhanced fleet-wide connectivity and situational awareness. Work will be performed in St. Petersburg/Largo, Fl. (86%), Menlo Park, Calif. (9%), Nashua, N.H. (5%), and is expected to be completed by March 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. Raytheon Systems Co., Naval and Maritime Integrated Systems Division, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $13,600,000 firm-fixed-price contract for three MK-2 Ship Self Defense Systems (SSDS) in support of the LPD-19, LPD-20 and a trainer. Work will be performed in Portsmouth, R.I. (80%), and San Diego, Calif. (20%), and is expected to be completed by May 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems, Inc., Syracuse, N.Y., is being awarded a $7,810,755 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-99-C-6212 (P00010) for the additional engineering services and support to the Omnibus Towed Systems Program for TB-29A/BQ Towed Array development. Work will be performed in Syracuse, N.Y. (60%), and Sylmar, Calif. (40%), and is expected to be completed by December 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Co., Sudbury, Mass., is being awarded a $5,875,424 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-98-C-5103 for 64,688 man-hours of technical production support engineering services for the SPY-1D, SPY-1D (V), and MK99 transmitters, which are major subsystems of the AEGIS Weapons System. Work will be performed in Sudbury, Mass. (90%), and Andover, Mass. (10%), and is expected to be completed by June 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

ARMY

Lockheed Martin Corp., Sanders, a Lockheed Martin Co., Countermeasure Division, Nashua, N.H., is being awarded a firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract, with an estimated cumulative total of $28,076,727 if all options are exercised. An appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order. The contractor will provide various spares for an estimated 6,366 AN/ALQ-144A(V) and AN/ALQ-144 Countermeasures Sets, over a five-year period. Work will be performed in Nashua, N.H., and is expected to be completed by May 25, 2005. There was an announcement on the World Wide Web on July 23, 1999, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAB07-00-D-B034).

Edan Inc., San Francisco, Calif., is being awarded a $293,109 increment as part of a $21,950,347 (total if all options are exercised) cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the investigation of potential environmental hazards with environmental documentation, engineering studies and analysis, installation support, and eventual cleanup. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala., and is expected to be completed by June 1, 2006. Of the total contract funds, $293,109 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was an announcement on the World Wide Web on Jan. 27, 2000, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Space & Strategic Defense Command, Huntsville, Ala., is the contracting activity (DASG60-00-C-0048).

Swank Enterprises, Valier, Mont., is being awarded an $8,871,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the design and construction of a complete and usable 144 person, three-story steel frame structure dormitory. The work includes all utility systems, IIVAC, IMCS, and EMCS systems, a complete fire protection system, fire detection and reporting system, and the storage. Sitework includes asphalt concrete paving, sidewalks, landscaping and irrigation systems, and connection of building utilities to the base utilities systems. Work will be performed at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont., and is expected to be completed by July 20, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 40 bids solicited on Jan 20, 2000, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle, Wash., is the contracting activity (DACA67-00-C-0227).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Morrison Knudsen/Lane, a joint venture, Boise, Idaho, is being awarded a $1,000,000 increment as part of a $32,729,096 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a cellar sheet pile cofferdam, for construction of a new 1200-foot navigation lock. The project includes unwatering the cofferdam, excavating the overburden within the cofferdam and demolishing portions of existing lock walls. Work will be performed at the McAlpine Locks and Dam at Louisville, Ky., and is expected to be completed by May 29, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 110 bids solicited on Feb. 14, 2000, and four bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville, Ky., is the contracting activity (DACW27-00-C-0025).
