NAVY

Lockheed Martin Corp. Naval Electronics and Surveillance Systems, Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $15,311,594 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-95-C-6535 to provide the hardware and software necessary to upgrade the common trainer engineering production models with current acoustic rapid commercial-off-the-shelf insertion functionality, and to procure two submarine multi mission team trainer upgrade kits, and training. Work will be performed in Manassas, Va., and is expected to be completed by November 2001. Contract funds in the amount of $306,386 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Sensors and Electronic Systems, El Segundo, Calif., is being issued an $8,851,788 firm-fixed-price order for nine AN/APG-73 radar receivers used on the F/A-18 aircraft. This procurement is for the Royal Australian Air Force (100%) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in El Segundo, Calif., and is expected to be completed by December 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitive procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00383-98-G-001A) (order 5280).

Safety Equipment International, Asheville, N.C., is being awarded an $8,145,000 order against a basic ordering agreement to provide for the manufacture of 2,500 crew back pack assemblies for the P-3 aircraft. Work will be performed in Asheville, N.C., and is expected to be completed by June 2002. Contract funds in the amount of $1,029,528 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitive procured. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68936-00-G-0001).

ARMY

Herve Cody*, Robbinsville, N.C., is being awarded a $1,000 increment as part of a $6,927,800 firm-fixed-price contract for canal enlargements and local levee modification for the Kissimmee River Project, Contract 2B. Work will be performed in Osceola and Polk Counties, Fla., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 30, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 250 bids solicited on Sept. 23, 1999, and five bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville, Fla., is the contracting activity (DACW17-00-C-0014).
