AIR FORCE

Northrop Grumman Corp., Linthicum Heights, Md., is being awarded a $99,156,144 cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for support and services through November 2004 to upgrade, prepare, sustain, integrate, and operate 13 sensors applicable to the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program. Expected contract completion date is November 2004. Solicitation issue date was Aug. 23, 1999. Negotiation completion date was April 14, 2000. Space and Missile System Center, Los Angeles AFB, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-00-C-0001).

Chugach Management Services, Anchorage, Alaska, is being awarded a $6,368,147 (estimated) fixed-price-award-fee contract to provide for maintenance, repair services, and associated grounds maintenance from June-September 2000 in support of family housing and mobile home park lots at Edwards AFB, Calif. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30, 2000. Solicitation issue date was June 30, 1999. Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards AFB, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04611-00-D-0047).

NAVY

American Overseas Marine, Quincy, Mass., is being awarded a $58,006,824 firm-fixed-price contract with reimbursables for the operation and maintenance of eight government-owned fast sealift ships used for military exercises and for surge sealift operations in the event of war or other national contingency. This contract contains options, which if exercised, would bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $99,324,944. Work will be performed in waters worldwide, and is expected to be completed by May 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitive procured with 80 proposals solicited and 14 offers received. The U.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00033-00-C-5303).

Bath Iron Works Corp., Bath, Maine, and Ingalls Shipbuilding, Pascagoula, Miss., are being awarded a not-to-exceed $16,000,000 firm-fixed-price advance agreement modification for acceleration of the DD 21 integrated power systems and development of competing preliminary permanent magnet motor designs. Work will be performed in Bath, Maine (50%) and Pascagoula, Miss. (50%), and is expected to be completed by March 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-98-9-2300).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Essex PB and R Corp.*, Edwardsville, Ill., is being awarded a $24,988,436 firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery contract for victim rescue units. Two proposals were solicited and one was received. Work is expected to be completed by May 2005. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Richmond, Richmond, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0460-00-D-0380).
