DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Owens & Minor, Inc., Glen Allen, Va., is being awarded a $7,862,500 firm-fixed-price modified-requirements contract for medical and surgical supplies under the Prime Vendor program. Work will be performed in Houston, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Nov. 14, 1999. The Defense Supply Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO200-97-D-7131).

AIR FORCE

Raytheon Texas Instruments Systems, McKinney, Texas, is being awarded a $6,575,500 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide for the Advanced Tactical Targeting Technology (AT3) program. This effort involves design, development, and ground and flight demonstration of a passive tactical targeting system for the lethal suppression of enemy air defenses. This was a Program Research and Development Announcement; there were nine proposals received. Expected contract completion date is Oct. 15, 2002. Solicitation issue date was June 5, 1998. Negotiation completion date was Oct. 15, 1998. Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33615-98-C-1373).

NAVY

Lockheed Martin Missile and Space, Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $515,625,317 cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee, level of effort contract to provide funding for the FY99 TRIDENT II (D5) missile production, deployed system support, and related service efforts. The D5 missile production and the deployed system support are contracted on a cost-plus-incentive fee basis ($479,305,790) and the related services efforts are contracted on a cost-plus-fixed-fee basis ($36,319,527). Work will be performed in Sunnyvale, Calif. (54.4%), Salt Lake City, Utah (13.3%), Kings Bay, Ga. (10.8%), Clearwater, Fla. (10.1%), Bangor, Wash. (5.0%), Gainesville, Va. (2.5%), Baltimore, Md. (1.2%), within the states of N.Y. (.7%), Ill. (.6%), Ariz. (.4%), Colo. (.4%), Texas (.1%), and other places (.5%), and is expected to be completed in September 2002. Contract funds in the amount of $217,847,393 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00030-98-C-0100).
