                                                                   DEFENSE COMMISSARY AGENCY

Coast Produce Co., 1601 E. Olympic Blvd, Suite 206, Los Angeles, CA 90021-1936 is being awarded an indefinite delivery, requirements type contract on October 10, 2006, to provide fresh fruits and vegetables (FF&V) for resale at multiple commissary store locations throughout DeCA’s West Region and Hawaii to include the following states: Arizona, California, Nevada, and Hawaii. The estimated award amount is $70,735,989. Contractor will deliver FF&V to the store locations as needed. The contract is for a two-year base period beginning November 1, 2006, through October 31, 2008. Two one-year option periods are available. If both option periods are exercised, the contract will be completed October 31, 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Forty-five firms were solicited and nine offers were received. The contracting activity is the Defense Commissary Agency, Resale Contracting Division, Resale Services Support Branch, 1300 E Avenue, Fort Lee, VA 23801-1800. (HDEC02-07-D-0004).

                                                                  DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Ettline Food Corp., York, Pa., * is being awarded a maximum $18,918,750 firm fixed price contract for prime vendor total food and beverage support for customers in mid-Atlantic Zone 2. Using services are Navy, Federal civilian agencies, and Job Corp centers. Proposals were Web-solicited and four responded. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Date of performance completion is November 19, 2007. Contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP), Philadelphia, Pa. (SPM300-07-D-3211).

                                                                                 AIR FORCE

General Atomics, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $5,845,134 cost-plus-fixed fee contract modification. This action will provide for continuation of the work completed on the base effort. The goal of the proposed activity is to develop reactor systems for recovering energy from the department of defense solid and liquid waste. At this time, $1,500,000 have been obligated. This work will be complete June 2009. Air Force Research laboratories, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity. (FA8651-04-C-0158/P00005)
