ARMY

Alliant Lake City Small Caliber Ammunition Co., Independence, Mo., was awarded on March 31, 2003, a delivery order amount of $28,873,120 as part of a $169,050,301 firm-fixed-price contract for 154,476,720 5.56mm ammunition. Work will be performed in Independence, Mo., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on July 30, 1999. The U.S. Army Joint Munitions Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (DAAA09-99-D0016).

Alliant Lake City Small Caliber Ammunition Co., Independence, Mo., was awarded on March 31, 2003, a delivery order amount of $49,198,551 as part of a $140,177,181 firm-fixed-price contract for various small caliber ammunition types to include 5.56mm, 7.62mm and .50 calibers. Work will be performed in Independence, Mo., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 31, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on July 30, 1999. The U.S. Army Joint Munitions Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (DAAA09-99-D-0016).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Grand Prairie, Texas, was awarded on April 7, 2003, a delivery order amount of $6,862,225 as part of a $43,955,587 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for Patriot Advanced Capability-3 systems integration and checkout of cost reduction initiatives. Work will be performed in Grand Prairie, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on July 24, 2002. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH01-01-G-0001).

NAVY

Lockheed Martin, Naval Electronics and Surveillance Systems-Marine Systems, Baltimore, Md., is being awarded a $13,808,338 modification to a previously awarded contract (N00024-00-C-5486) for the procurement of technical/engineering services in support of the MK 41 VLS Program. The contract will provide design agent engineering efforts to support ongoing product improvements for Cruiser Conversion and Tactical Tomahawk, as well as test equipment for the MK41 VLS. Work will be performed in Baltimore, Md., and is expected to be completed in September 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

General Electric Aircraft Engines, Lynn, Mass., is being awarded a $7,311,602 delivery order under a previously awarded contract (N00383-01-D-0023M) for the repair of F404 HPT rotor components utilized on the F-18 aircraft. Work will be performed at Jacksonville, Fla., and is to be completed by September 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured, with two proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (Order 7004).

C. F. Jordon LP, Dallas, Texas, is being awarded a $5,628,000 firm-fixed-price contract for design and construction of a 52-unit navy lodge at Naval Air Station, Joint Reserve Base, Fort Worth. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed by April 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the NAVFAC e-solicitation website, with three offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division, North Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N62467-02-C-0504).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Aero International Inc.*, Sterling, Va., is being awarded a $8,700,000 fixed price with economic price adjustment type of contract for a prime vendor to provide complete supply chain management of automotive parts for all U.S. military services. Work will also be performed in Ft. Drum, N.Y., and Ft. Lexis, Wash. Performance completion date is expected to be Sept. 30, 2005. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were three proposals solicitated, and three responded. The Defense Supply Center Columbus, Columbus, Ohio, is the contracting activity (SP0750-02-R-1521).

AIR FORCE

Northrop Grumman Corp., Integrated System, Air Combat Systems, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $6,920,000 cost-plus-award-fee contract award to provide nine months of interim contractor support for the Global Hawk Program. The period of performance is April 1, 2003 to Dec. 31, 2003. The location of performance is Northrop Grumman Ryan Aeronautical Center, San Diego, Calif. At this time, $3,144,500 of the funds has been obligated. Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. Solicitation began September 2002. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-02-C-5424).
