CONTRACTS

 

NAVY

 

            Sodexho, Inc., Gaithersburg, Md., is being awarded a $71,700,000 modification to previously awarded fixed-price-incentive contract  (M00027-02-C-0001) to provide food services to the Marine Corps and manage and operate their mess halls in the eastern region of the United States.  Work will be performed in Washington D.C. (5%); Arlington, Va. (5%); Quantico, Va. (15%); Norfolk, Va. (5%); Jacksonville, N.C. (40%); Havelock, N.C. (5%); Parris Island, S.C. (20%); and Beaufort, S.C. (5%), and is expected to be completed by September 2010.  Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Headquarters, United States Marine Corps, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

 

            Sodexho, Inc., Gaithersburg, Md., is being awarded a $68,000,000 modification to previously awarded fixed-price-incentive contract  (M00027-02-C-0002) to provide food services to the Marine Corps and manage and operate their mess halls in the western region of the United States.  Work will be performed in Oceanside, Calif. (45%); Miramar, Calif. (10%); Twentynine Palms, Calif. (15%); San Diego, Calif. (20%); Bridgeport, Calif. (5%); and Yuma, Ariz. (5%), and is expected to be completed by September 2010.   Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.   The Headquarters, United States Marine Corps, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

 

            Raytheon Missile Systems Co., doing business as Raytheon Systems Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $38,000,000 ceiling-priced modification to exercise an option to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price, indefinite/quantity contract (N00019-00-D-0275) for depot support, maintenance, operational test launch support and related spare parts and components for the Tomahawk missile.  Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz. (70%) and Camden, Ark. (30%); and is expected to be completed in April 2005.  Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

 

            GR Dynamics, Burlington Vt., is being awarded a maximum $21,200,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite/delivery, indefinite-quantity contract for remote operated small arms mounts (ROSAM) and auxiliary support equipment (consoles, mounts).  Work will be performed in Burlington, Vt., and is expected to be completed by October 2008.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The contract was competitively procured with five proposals solicited and five offers received.  The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Crane, Ind., is the contracting activity. (N00164-04-D-4802)

 

            Veridian Engineering, Inc., Buffalo, N.Y., is being awarded a not-to-exceed $17,100,225 modification to exercise an option to a previously awarded time-and-materials, indefinite/delivery, indefinite/quantity contract (N00421-00-D-0126) to provide technical, engineering, and management support services for Navy and Foreign Military Sales F/A-18 aircraft.  The estimated level of effort for this option is 326,701 man-hours.  Work will be performed in Patuxent River, Md., and is expected to be completed by November 2004.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

 

AIR FORCE

 

            Boeing Aerospace Operations, Oklahoma City, Okla., is being awarded a $10,000,000 firm fixed price contract modification to provide for program depot maintenance, aircraft modification, landing gear overhaul and time compliance technical orders for E-4B aircraft 73-1677.  Location of performance is Boeing Wichita, 3801 South Oliver, Wichita, Kan. 67277.  Total funds have been obligated.  This work will be complete by December 2004.  Solicitation began May 2003 and Negotiations were completed November 2003.  The Headquarters Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-95-C-0270, P00217

 

ARMY

 

            Northrop Grumman Space & Mission Systems Corp., Carson, Calif., was awarded on Oct. 30, 2003, a $6,000,000 increment as part of a $100,491,236 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for contractor logistics support for the sustainment of the Hunter unmanned aerial vehicle system.  Work will be performed in Sierra Vista, Ariz. (82%) and San Diego, Calif. (18%), and is expected to be completed by Oct. 30, 2008.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on May 20, 2003.  The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH01-04-C-0001).
