DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Shamrock Foods Company, Commerce City, Colo., is being awarded a $9,170,625 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for food and beverage support under the Prime Vendor program. Ninety-six proposals were solicited and four were received. Work is expected to be completed by July 15, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0300-99-D-2942).

ARMY

Symbol Technologies Inc., Holtsville, N.Y., is being awarded $100,000 (base year total) as part of a $248,000,000 (total if all options are exercised) indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity/firm-fixed-price contract. An appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order. This Automatic Identification Technologies II (AIT-II) contract will provide state-of-the-art commercial items needed for automatic identification, data collection, data processing, data storage, data retrieval, data transmission, and the tracking of assets, including the use of radio frequency technology for users throughout Department of Defense, Coast Guard, and other Federal Agencies. Associated technical engineering services (systems integration, software development, surveys and installations), training, maintenance, documentation, and program management are required. Work will be performed in Holtsville, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 25 bids solicited on March 23, 1999, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command Acquisition Center, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (DAAB15-99-D-0015).

Combat Support Associates, Orange, Calif., is being awarded $2,956,014 as part of a $51,330,417 (base year total) cost-plus-award-fee contract, with an estimated cumulative total of $546,751,502 if all options are exercised. The contractor will furnish management and resources to perform base operations and tactical and non-tactical equipment maintenance and related support services. Work will be performed at Camp Doha, Kuwait, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2008. Of the total contract funds, $2,956,014 will expire at the end of the

current fiscal year. There was an announcement on the World Wide Web on Oct. 29, 1998, and four bids were received. The Military Traffic Management Command, USA Central Command-Kuwait, Camp Doha, Kuwait, is the contracting activity (DASA02-99-C-1234).

AIR FORCE

Raytheon Systems Co., Falls Church, Va., is being awarded a $43,897,944 firm-fixed-price, cost-reimbursable-no-fee contract to provide for FY2000 contractor field service representatives in support of the ground stations, sensors, and data links supporting the U-2 aircraft. There were eleven firms solicited and two proposals received. Contract period of performance is Oct. 1, 1999 through Sep. 30, 2000. Solicitation issue date was March 1, 1999. Negotiation completion date was July 2, 1999. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins AFB, Ga., is the contracting activity (F09604-99-C-0050).

McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $93,496,863 firm-fixed-price/cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide 22 APG-63(V)1 radar systems applicable to the F-15 aircraft. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Expected contract completion date is Nov. 30, 2001. Solicitation issue date was May 14, 1998. Negotiation completion date was June 24, 1999. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-98-C-0012).
