ARMY

Raytheon Systems Co., St. Petersburg, Fla., is being awarded a $13,091,057 modification to firm-fixed-price with economic price adjustments and time and materials contract DAAB07-97-C-J437. This is to exercise the second year option for 106 Joint Tactical Terminals from the low-rate initial production and full-rate production contract for Joint Tactical Terminal/Common Integrated Broadcast Service Modules (JTT/CIBS-M). The JTT/CIBS-M provides warfighters with tactical intelligence and targeting information and provides the critical intelligence data links to battle managers, intelligence centers, air defenders, fire support elements and aviation nodes across all services. Work will be performed in St. Petersburg, Fla., and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2007. Of the total contract funds, $9,506 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were three bids solicited on May 30, 1997, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command, Ft. Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity.

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Halter Marine Inc., Gulfport, Miss., is being awarded $17,810,597 (base year total) as part of an $18,449,258 (total if all options are exercised) firm-fixed-price contract to repower, upgrade and repair the dredge potter. Work will be performed in New Orleans, La., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 20, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were nine bids solicited on May 4, 1999, and six bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (DACW61-99-H-0004).

NAVY

Northrop Grumman Corporation, Military Aircraft Systems Division, St. Augustine, Fla., is being awarded an $8,137,492 ceiling amount delivery order against a basic ordering agreement for airframe changes of 8 F-14 aircraft under the F-14 upgrade program. Work will be performed in St. Augustine, Fla., and is expected to be completed by December 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-96-G-0013).

The R. R. Gregory Corp., Waldorf, Md., is being awarded a $6,146,702 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a 57,000 square foot main Navy Exchange mall at Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, Md. Work will be performed in Patuxent River, Md., and is expected to be completed by August 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 33 proposals solicited and eight offers received. The Engineering Field Activity Chesapeake, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N62477-99-C-0010).
