Wyoming has not yet been granted state program approval (SPA). Five of the six states in Region 8 have approved programs.

Number of confirmed releases	2,000 (national total: 479,817)
Number of cleanups completed	1,105 (national total: 377,019)
Number of cleanups in backlog to be completed	895 (national total: 102,798)

Percent of facilities in significant operational compliance with:

	Release prevention requirements	90%
	Release detection requirements	95%
	Both prevention and release detection requirements	87%
