UST/LUST Program Status In New Hampshire

New Hampshire was granted state program approval (SPA) in 1991. All six states in Region 1 have approved programs. Region 1 was the second Region to have all of its states achieve SPA.

Number of cleanups completed 1,589 (national total: 377,019)
Number of cleanups in backlog to be completed 769 (national total: 102,798)

Percent of facilities in significant operational compliance with:
Release prevention requirements 62%
Release detection requirements 67%
Both prevention and release detection requirements 50%
