ARMY

Chamberlain Manufacturing Corp., Scranton, Pa., is being awarded $12,357,225 as part of a $113,803,568 (total if all options are exercised) firm-fixed-price multi-year contract for 117,980 Projectile Metal Parts in support of the 155 mm M107 projectile. Work will be performed in Scranton, Pa., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 19, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was an announcement on the World Wide Web on April 22, 1999, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Armament, Munitions & Chemical Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (DAAA09-99-C-0064).

AIR FORCE

Carothers Construction, Water Valley, Miss., is being awarded a $20,457,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for design and construction of a community shopping center at Hanscom AFB, Mass. This center will include a commissary, a base exchange, military clothing sales store, and a food court. There were 66 firms solicited and three proposals received. Expected contract completion date is October 2001. Solicitation issue date was Feb. 12, 1999. Negotiation completion date was July 30, 1999. Air Education and Training Command Contracting Squadron, Lackland AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41689-99-C-0414).

Lockheed Martin Aerospace Corp., North Las Vegas, Nev., is being awarded a $25,695,053 modification to a cost-plus-award-fee contract, F26600-95-C0037-P00116, to provide for FY2000 operation and maintenance of electronic threats and targets on the Nevada Test and Training Range, Nev. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30, 2000. Solicitation issue date was Dec. 19, 1994. Range Management Office, Nellis AFB, Nev., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space Corp., Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $10,722,434 modification to a fixed-price-incentive-fee contract, F04701-96-C-0023-P00046, to provide for Phase C of the effort to integrate Defense Meteorological Satellite Program

spacecraft A3 and B6 onto the Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle. Expected contract completion date is June 30, 2003. Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles AFB, Calif., is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE INFORMATION SYSTEMS AGENCY

ARTEL, Incorporated, Reston, Va. is being awarded a $100,000,000 time-and materials, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for the Defense Information System Network, Network Management Support Services-Global/Associated Support Contract (DNMSS-G/ASC) requirement. The contract is for a two-year base period with three one-year options, and will obtain contractual support for the Defense Switched Network (DSN), Defense Red Switched Network (DRSN), DSN Integrated Management Support System (DIMSS), and the Integrated Network Management System (INMS). The requirement was solicited and awarded on a 100 percent small business set-aside basis. The solicitation was published on the Internet and was reviewed by approximately 150 companies, with five offers received. The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, Scott AFB, Ill. is the contracting activity. (DCA200-99-D-5015).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Astra Pharmaceuticals, L.P., Wayne, Pa., is being awarded an estimated $43,960,000 firm-fixed-price requirements contract for proton pump inhibitors. Six proposals were solicited and two were received. Work will be performed in West Point, Pa., and is expected to be completed by Sep. 19, 2000. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0200-99-D-0504).
