DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

McKesson Healthcare Systems Co., San Francisco, Calif., is being awarded a $219,158,066 requirements contract for pharmaceuticals under the Prime Vendor program. Eighty-four proposals were solicited and four were received. Work is expected to be completed by May 3, 2001. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0300-99-R-7040).

US Foodservice, Continental Foods Division, Baltimore, Md., is being awarded a $7,418,863 indefinite-quantity contract for full-line food distribution under the Prime Vendor program. Seventy-two proposals were solicited and four were received. Work will be performed in Severn, Md., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 9, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0300-99-D-2974).

NAVY

Raytheon Systems Co., El Segundo, Calif., is being awarded a $30,460,348 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to design, fabricate, test and deliver a 2048-element low-band multifunction receiver system for integration into the advanced multifunction radio frequency (RF) system testbed. This multifunction system, for use on ships and aircraft, will provide greater combat effectiveness, improved platform survivability, and reduced acquisition and life-cycle costs through hardware commonality and sharing. Work will be performed in El Segundo, Calif., and is expected to be completed by September 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured under an Office of Naval Research broad agency announcement which is open and on-going. Therefore, it is not possible to determine the number offers received. The Office of Naval Research, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00014-99-C-0314).

McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded an $8,893,875 cost-plus-fixed-fee, delivery order against a basic ordering agreement for the development, procurement, and demonstration of a flight-worthy multifunctional information distribution compatible

transponder for the F/A-18E/F aircraft. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo., and is expected to be completed by December 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-97-G-0167).

AIR FORCE

Raytheon Company, Goleta, Calif., is being awarded a $41,225,194 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract, F33657-96-C-0036-P00024, to provide for the following components applicable to the AN/ALE50(V) countermeasures system in support of the F-16 aircraft: 1,596 towed decoys; 39 spare launcher/controllers; 62 spare magazines; and 39 isolation racks. Expected contract completion date is Feb. 28, 2001. Solicitation issue date was July 6, 1999. Negotiation completion date was Aug. 4, 1999. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity.

Boeing North American, Inc., Anaheim, Calif., is being awarded a $5,054,245 modification to a cost-plus-award-fee contract, F04704-93-C-0020-P00098, to provide for the Period II (October 1998 - May 1999) award fee for performance of the low rate initial production effort in support of the Guidance Replacement Program for the Minuteman III missile. Expected contract completion date is Aug. 31, 2001. Negotiation completion date was July 28, 1999. Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity.

ARMY

Oshkosh Truck Corp., Oshkosh, Wis., is being awarded $4,445,200 as part of a $7,890,968 firm-fixed-price contract for 112 Combined Bridge Transporters (CBT), a Heavy Equipment Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMTT) chassis modified by the addition of a Load Handling System. The CBT was designed to support the Engineer Corps in transporting bridge assets. The Load Handling System on the CBT loads, launches, and retrieves the Ribbon Bridge and the Heavy Dry Support Bridge. Work will be performed in Oshkosh, Wis., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 28, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on March 30, 1999. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-99-D-S012).
