DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Smart & Final Food Distributors, Inc., Stockton, Calif., is being awarded a $5,000,000 indefinite-quantity contract for food and beverage support under the Prime Vendor program. Fifty-five proposals were solicited and five were received. Work is expected to be completed by Aug. 10, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia. Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0300-99-D-2943).

Enron Energy Services, Houston, Texas, is being awarded a $6,149,939 firm-fixed-price fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for direct supply natural gas. Four hundred eighty-one proposals were solicited and 46 were received. Work will be performed in Wall, N.J.; Fort Meade, Md.; Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass.; Yuma, Ariz.; Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz.; Luke Air Force Base, Ariz.; Cincinnati, Ohio; Nellis Air Force Base, Nev.; Chicago, Ill.; and Cannon Air Force Base, N.M., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-99-D-7506).

AIR FORCE

McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $10,069,744 cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for development of software for the Operational Flight Program, Suite 5, Phase I, in support of the F-15 aircraft. Expected contract completion date is Jan. 31, 2001. Solicitation issue date was Dec. 24, 1998. Negotiation completion date was July 14, 1999. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-99-C-0013).

AAI Engineering Support, Inc., Hunt Valley, Md., is being awarded an $18,622,634 modification to a cost-plus-award-fee contract, F33657-97-C-2009-P00023, to provide for trainer enhancements, concurrency modifications, and system engineering and program management for the maintenance training system supporting the C-17 aircraft. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 20, 2002. Negotiation completion date was July 28, 1999. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity.

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Bean Stuyvesant, L.L.C., Belle Chasse, La., is being awarded $10,000,000 as part of a $13,862,000 (total if all options are exercised) firm-fixed-price contract for New York Harbor, Kill van Kull and Newark Bay Channels Navigation Improvement Project, Phase II, Contract 1, New York and New Jersey. Work will be performed in New York Harbor and Newark Bay Channels, and is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 24 bids solicited on June 11, 1999, and four bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York, N.Y., is the contracting activity (DACW51-99-C-0027).
