CONTRACTS

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Bergen Brunswig Drug Co., Orange, Calif., is being awarded a $9,939,595 firm fixed price modified requirements contract for pharmaceuticals under the Prime Vendor program. One hundred thirty eight proposals were solicited and three were received. Work will be performed in Aiea, Hawaii and is expected to be completed by April 16, 1998. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0200-95- D-7014).

ARMY

Safe Environment of America*, Ludlow, Mass., is being awarded a $60,000 delivery order amount as part of a $12,000,000 (estimated maximum for base plus all options) firm fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for the removal and disposal of lead-based paint and asbestos materials in North and Central Texas, at Ft. Hood, Goodfellow Air Force Base, Dyess Air Force Base, and Carswell Naval Air Station, Texas. Work will be performed primarily in Fort Hood, Texas and is expected to be completed by Oct. 20, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 67 bids solicited on Feb. 27, 1997, and six bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Ft. Worth, Texas (DACA63-97-D-0014).

All Star Maintenance Inc.*, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded an $84,000 delivery order amount as part of a $15,000,000 (estimated maximum for base plus all options) firm fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for total family- housing maintenance. Work will be performed at White Sands Missile Range, N.M., and is expected to be completed by April 13, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 35 bids solicited on Oct. 30, 1996, and four bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Ft. Worth, Texas (DACA63-97-D-0015).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Layne-Keller LLC, Salt Lake City, Utah, is being awarded a $1,900,000 increment as part of a $5,097,930 firm fixed price construction contract for curtain grouting of monoliths 15 through 19, Dworshak Dam, Idaho. Work will be performed in Clearwater County**, Idaho, and is expected to be completed by March 15, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 60 bids solicited on Jan. 3, 1997, and five bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla, Wash. (DACW68-97-C- 0021).

AIR FORCE

Greenwich Air Services, Miami, Fla., is being awarded a $9,464,694 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract to provide for conversion of six JT3D government-furnished engines to Air Force TF33-102B Joint Surveillance, Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS engine configuration. This effort includes repair, overhaul, and modification necessary to deliver fully- configured Joint STARS E-8C spare aircraft engines. Contract is expected to be completed August 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins AFB, Ga., is the contracting activity (F09603-95/C-1001, P00003).

NAVY

Sauer Inc., (doing business as) Sauer Southeast, Jacksonville, Fla., is being awarded a $7,255,000 firm-fixed- price contract for renovation of a 125,280 square foot portion of an existing facility to provide administrative space including modifying the mechanical, electrical, and communications systems at the Charleston Operation Location of Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), Naval Station, Charleston, S.C. Work will be performed in Charleston, S.C., and the contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 51 proposals solicited and nine offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Commander, Southern Division, North Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N62467-95-C-0755).
