AIR FORCE

Northrop Grumman Information Technology, Defense Mission Systems, Reston, Va., is being awarded a $49,900,000 an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity with cost plus fixed fee completion orders contract to provide continuing system engineering to users of secure messaging systems technologies as message communications architectures and methodologies continue to evolve. This effort will primarily provide operation and maintenance of the Communications Support Processor application and extensions at various government operational sites; however, enhancements and interfaces will also be developed to implement secure messaging system technologies. The deliverable items will be specified in each individual order, but will include software, hardware, and functional and technical documentation. The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, although actual requirements may necessitate less than this amount. The location of performance is Northrop Grumman Defense Mission Systems, Bellevue, Neb. At this time, $120,000 has been obligated. This work will be complete in October 2011. Solicitations began July 2005 with one proposal received. The Air Force Research Laboratory, Rome, N.Y., is the contracting activity (FA8750-06-D-0026).

Electro Bio Sciences, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded an $11,658,889 cost plus fixed fee contract to provide for Engineered Bio-Molecular Nano-Devices/Systems. At this time, $3,818,972 has been obligated. This work will be complete March 2006. Negotiations were complete in October 2005. The Air Force Office of Scientific Research, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (FA9550-06-C-0006).

ARMY

Murillo Modular Group Ltd.*, Lewisville, Texas, was awarded on Oct. 19, 2005, a $7,588,448 firm-fixed-price contract for Portable Classroom Buildings. Work will be performed in Baton Rouge, La., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 21, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 14, 2005. The Recovery Field Office, Baton Rouge, La., is the contracting activity (W912P9-06-C-0006).

Orion Technology Inc.*, Huntsville, Ala., was awarded on Oct. 19, 2005, a $6,095,315 firm-fixed-price contract for Production Cleaning Services Support. Work will be performed in Anniston, Ala., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 19, 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Aug. 15, 2005, and six bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Anniston, Ala., is the contracting activity (W911KF-06-C-0001).

NAVY

BAE Systems Applied Technologies Inc., Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $7,450,476 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00421-03-C-0016) to exercise an option for technical and engineering services to support the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Divisions Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems. The estimated level of effort for this option is 128,640 man-hours. Work will be performed in Great Mills, Md. (51 percent); St. Inigoes, Md. (25 percent) and San Diego, Calif., (24 percent), and is expected to be completed by October 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, St. Inigoes, Md., is the contracting activity.

Progeny Systems Corp., Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $5,595,479 cost-plus-award-fee, Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Phase III contract, for the design, development and delivery of two Engineering Development Models (EDM) for Common Weapon Launcher (CWL). This effort is for Phase III SBIR topic number N02-024 (Automated /Simplified Weapons Operator Machine Interface) and will leverage from an earlier Phase III Small Business Innovative Technology Topic N96-278 (Technology Infusion Methodology for Commercial Off The Shelf items). This effort includes the design and development of an EDM for the CWL Subsystem delivery to U.S. Navy submarine platforms. Work will be performed in Manassas, Va., and is expected to be completed by December 2007. Contract funds in the amount of $1,955,227, will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-06-C-6238).
