NAVY

CONTRACTS


Litton Data Systems, Agoura Hills, Calif., is being awarded a $5,749,958 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of four interrogator sets (UPX-24(V)), twelve remote control indicators, and associated data for AEGIS Class Destroyers (DDG). Work will be performed in Moorpark, Calif., and is expected to be completed by August 1999. Contract funds would not have expired by the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00019-96-C-0181).

Allied Technology Group, Inc.,* Honolulu, Hawaii, and RCI Environmental, Inc.,* Kapolei, Hawaii, have been awarded a $5,000,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/ indefinite- quantity contract to provide for, but not limited to, underground storage tank closures and installation in support of the Department of Navy Environmental Programs under the cognizance of the Pacific Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. These two contractors may compete for each delivery order under terms and conditions of the existing multiple awardee contract. The total contract amount is not-to- exceed $15,000,000. Work will be performed at various locations in the state of Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by May 2000. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 195 proposals solicited and nine offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific Division, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is the contracting activity (N62742-96-D-1314).

ARMY

Sundt Corp./Actus Corp., a joint venture, Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $19,675,340 firm fixed price contract for FY97 military family housing, to design/build 184 family units, to include concrete work, rough and finish carpentry, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work. The project also includes infrastructure work to include new streets, sidewalks, and utilities to support the new family housing units, landscaping and recreational spaces. Utility infrastructure work will include water lines, sanitary sewer lines, and electrical distribution system. Work will be performed at Altus Air Force Base, Okla., and is expected to be completed by April 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 52 bids solicited on Feb. 10, 1997, and seven bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Albuquerque, N.M. (DACA47-97-C-0014).
