DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Bindley Western Industries, Indianapolis, Ind., is being awarded a $12,343,165 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for pharmaceuticals under the Fleet Prime Vendor program. Two hundred forty-seven proposals were solicited and four were received. Work will be performed in Shelby, N.C.; Nashville, Tenn.; and Tampa, Fla., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 18, 2000. NAVY

Ingalls Shipbuilding, Inc., Pascagoula, Miss., is being awarded a $660,040,881 modification to its FY98-FY01 DDG 51 class multiyear contract which provides funding for the FY00 multiyear ships (DDG 97 and DDG 98). This amount includes incorporation of approved changes to the FY00 baseline. Advance Procurement funding in the amount of $54,900,000 was previously provided for these ships in March 1998 in combination with award of the FY98-FY01 multiyear contract. Work will be performed in Pascagoula, Miss., and is expected to be completed by October 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Bath Iron Works Corp., Bath, Maine, is being awarded a $324,071,772 modification to its FY98-FY01 DDG 51 class multiyear contract which provides funding for the FY00 multiyear ship (DDG 96). This amount includes incorporation of approved changes to the FY00 baseline. Advance procurement funding in the amount of $27,450,000 was previously provided for this ship in March 98 in combination with award of the FY98-FY01 multiyear contract. Work will be performed in Bath, Maine, and is expected to be completed by April 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Lockheed Martin Corp., Great Neck, N.Y., is being awarded a $79,296,467 cost-plus-fixed-fee, fixed-price-incentive, cost-plus-incentive contract. This contract will provide the

FY00 U.S. and U.K. TRIDENT II (D5) navigation subsystem production and engineering services requirements. Work will be performed in Mitchel Field, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by May 2002. McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded an $18,467,970 firm-fixed-price contract to procure 34 target vehicles with boosters, 34 scoring kits, shipboard equipment, and two jettison test vehicles for MA-31 aerial targets. Work will be performed in Hazelwood, Mo., and is expected to be completed by December 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (99.6%) and the government of Finland (.4%) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. General Electric Company, Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded a $12,663,575 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract, F33657-94-D-2000-0091, to provide for 264 retrofit kits for the Block 50 F110GE129 engines applicable to the F-16 aircraft. This retrofit will maximize safety and reduce maintenance requirements by reducing high screech levels and resolving exhaust burn anomalies. Expected contract completion date is Dec. 30, 2002. General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Company, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $49,353,203 modification to a fixed-price-incentive-firm contract, F33657-99-C-3045-P00003, to provide for 12 Predator unmanned aerial reconnaissance vehicles, six ice protection kits, ground control equipment, and associated spares. ARMY

Resource Consultants Inc., Vienna, Va., was awarded on Dec. 15, 1999, an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, loaded labor rate multi-year contract, with an estimated cumulative total of $49,296,570 (if options are exercised), to provide support services to assist Army Continuing Education System professionals in the delivery of adult education services to soldiers at sites throughout the world. Services may potentially be ordered for any location containing concentrations of Active or Reserve Army personnel. Work will be performed at various locations inside and outside of the continental United States, and is expected to be completed by March 30, 2005.
