DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Equa Industries Incorporated,* Mayaguez,** Puerto Rico, is being awarded a $7,778,900 modification to a firm fixed price contract for 107,000 fire-resistant summer coveralls. Fifty- eight proposals were solicited and eight were received. Work will be performed in Mayaguez,** Puerto Rico, and is expected to be completed by October 30, 1995. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity (DLA100- 93-C-0406-P00039).

Coastal Institutional Distributors, Walterboro, South Carolina, is being awarded an estimated $29,670,846 firm fixed price contract for the selection of a prime vendor for food and beverage support for DoD customers in South Carolina. This is a one-year contract with two one-year options. Three hundred thirty-five proposals were solicited and 10 were received. Work will be performed in South Carolina, and is expected to be completed by December 30, 1995. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. PYA/Monarch Atlanta, Atlanta, Georgia, is being awarded an estimated $21,624,304 firm fixed price contract for the selection of a prime vendor for food and beverage support for DoD customers in Georgia. This is a one-year contract with two one-year options. Three hundred thirty-five proposals were solicited and 10 were received. Work will be performed in Georgia, and is expected to be completed by February 28, 1996. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. Beaver Street Foods, Jacksonville, Florida, is being awarded an estimated $8,241,527 firm fixed price contract for the selection of a prime vendor for food and beverage support for Navy customers in Mayport, Florida and Kings Bay, Georgia. This is a one-year contract with

two one-year options. Three hundred thirty-five proposals were solicited and 10 were received. Work will be performed in Florida, and is expected to be completed by February 28, 1996. Central Florida/SYSCO, Ocoee, Florida, is being awarded an estimated $11,663,157 firm fixed price contract for the selection of a prime vendor for food and beverage support for DoD customers in Florida. This is a one-year contract with two one-year options. Three hundred thirty-five proposals were solicited and 10 were received. Work will be performed in South Carolina, and is expected to be completed by February 28, 1996. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. Robert Orr/SYSCO, Nashville, Tennessee, is being awarded an estimated $12,182,050 firm fixed price contract for the selection of a prime vendor for food and beverage support for DoD customers in Alabama. This is a one-year contract with two one-year options. Three hundred thirty-five proposals were solicited and 10 were received. Work will be performed in Alabama, and is expected to be completed by February 28, 1996. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. ARMY

Manhattan Construction Company, Fairfax, Virginia, is being awarded a $7,031,634 firm fixed price contract for foundation parking and utility site work for the new Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, Phase I. Work will be performed in Forest Glen, Maryland, and is expected to be completed by November 15, 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 32 bids solicited on April 8, 1994, and 6 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore, Maryland (DACA31-95-C-0004).

NAVY

Martin Marietta Corporation, Armament Systems Division, Burlington, Vermont, is being awarded a $5,918,400 firm-fixed-price delivery order to furnish 116 20MM guns and 10 gun feeders for the M61A2 guns and F18 ammunition handling systems. Work will be performed in Burlington, Vermont, and is expected to be completed by December 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. This contract combines purchases for the governments of Finland (63.8%), and Switzerland (36.2%), under the Foreign Military Sales Program (FMS). The Navy Ships Parts Control Center, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity (N00104-92-G-0208).

AIR FORCE

The RAND Corporation, Santa Monica, California, is being awarded a $20,250,000 face value increase to a cost-plus-fixed fee contract. This action provides for 100 man years of technical support for Project Air Force, which provides information and independent assessments derived from research and analysis of aerospace issues.. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Air Force Office of Scientific Research, Bolling Air Force Base, District of Columbia is the contracting activity (F49620-91-C-0003, P00016).
