ARMY

The MITRE Corporation, McLean, Virginia, is bieng awarded a $170,000,000 modification to a $252,830,333 cost plus fixed fee contract for general systems engineering and integration services supporting Army, other Department of Defense and government agency command, control, communications and intelligence programs. Work will be performed at multiple locations, both inside and outside of the continental United States, and is expected to be completed by September 30, 1995. Appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each increment. This is a sole source contract initiated on May 3, 1994. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey (DAAB07-94-C-H601).

NAVY

Information Spectrum, Inc., Cherry Hill, New Jersey, is being awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with provisions for cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery orders with a maximum not-to-exceed value of $105,121,378 for aviation technical training engineering and technical support services to refine and apply new and/or improved procedures for the enhancement of specific aviation training programs. Work will be performed in Norfolk, Virginia (60%), Jacksonville, Florida (20%), and Patuxent River, Maryland (20%), and is expected to be completed by October 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured by a Request for Proposals (RFP) and two offers were received. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity (N00421-95-D-1001).

United Technologies Corporation, Sikorsky Aircraft Division, Stratford, Connecticut, is being awarded a $25,600,000 contract for aircraft rework and associated integrated logistics support on four VH-3D and two VH-60N aircraft. Work will be performed in Stratford, Connecticut, and is expected to be completed by May 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00019-94-C-0198).

Westinghouse Norden Systems, Norwalk, Connecticut, is being awarded a $16,786,035 cost-plus-award-fee contract for the AN/SPQ-9B Radar Improvement Program. Work will be performed in Norwalk, Connecticut (60%), and Melville, New York (40%), and is expected to be completed by March 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 18 proposals solicited and three offers received. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-94-C-5441).

AIR FORCE

Litton Systems, Incorporated, Data Systems, Agoura Hills, California, is being awarded a $27,753,758 face value increase to a fixed-price-incentive-firm contract for design, development, fabrication and test of a field retrofit kit for upgrading the Tactical Air Operations Modules (TAOMs) of the Joint Tactical Information Distribution System (JTIDS). Contract is expected to be completed July 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, is the contracting activity (F19628-88-C-0065, P00064).

Lockheed Corporation, Lockheed Fort Worth Company, Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $19,220,315 face value increase to a fixed-price-incentive contract for software and hardware modifications and associated technical data and support equipment for 46 F-16 C and D aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed July 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract is in support of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to Egypt. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-90-C-2002, P00129).

PEMCO Aeroplex Incoporated, Birmingham, Alabama, is being awarded a $37,765,049 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract for programmed and drop-in depot maintenance, analytical control inspection and installation of various modifications for the KC-135 aircraft. The work will be performed at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. Contract is expected to be completed September 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity (F34601-94-C-0664, P00005).
