AIR FORCE

 

            Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, Clearfield, Utah, is being awarded a $225,239,806 cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-award-fee contract modification.  This action provides for the intercontinental ballistic missile propulsion replacement program, Full Rate Production (FRP) options FRP5, FRP6, and FRP7, restructure modification for two-hundred and twelve (212) stage 1, 2 and 3 motors, production quality assurance, ordnance production and contractor cost data reports.  This work will be complete in March 2008.  At this time, total funds have been obligated.  Negotiations were complete in May 2005.  The Headquarters 528th ICBM Systems Wing, Hill Air Force Base, UT, is the contracting activity.  (F42610-98-C-0001).  A modification number for this requirement has not been assigned.

 

NAVY

 

            Braintree II Maritime Corp., Quincy, Mass., is being awarded $70,000,000 under previously awarded contract (N00033-82-C-1030) to exercise an option to purchase maritime prepositioning ship PFC Dewayne T. Williams from Braintree II Maritime Corp.  The ship has been under long-term charter to the Military Sealift Command since 1985 and prepositions Marine Corps cargo at sea around the world, making it readily available to warfighters who are flown into a theatre of operations.  The ship transfers to government ownership on Jan. 17, 2006, and will continue to operate worldwide.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Military Sealift Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity. 

 

      Braintree III Maritime Corp., Quincy, Mass., is being awarded $70,000,000 under previously awarded contract (N00033-82-C-1032) to exercise an option to purchase maritime prepositioning ship 1st Lt. Baldomero Lopez from Braintree III Maritime Corp.  The ship has been under long-term charter to the Military Sealift Command since 1985 and prepositions Marine Corps cargo at sea around the world, making it readily available to warfighters who are flown into a theatre of operations.  The ship transfers to government ownership on Jan. 17, 2006, and will continue to operate worldwide.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Military Sealift Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Jack Lummus from Braintree IV Maritime Corp.  The ship has been under long-term charter to the Military Sealift Command since 1986 and prepositions Marine Corps cargo at sea around the world, making it readily available to warfighters who are flown into a theatre of operations.  The ship transfers to government ownership on Jan. 17, 2006, and will continue to operate worldwide.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Military Sealift Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity. 

 

            Lockheed Martin MS-2 Tactical Systems, Eagan, Minn., is being awarded an $18,568,372 firm-fixed-price delivery order (1305) under previously awarded contract (N00024-98-D-5202) for replacement or repair of spares that comprise the AN-UYQ-79 advanced display system.  This delivery order combines purchases for the Navy (95.73 percent) and the governments of Australia (2.3 percent); Spain (.88 percent); Egypt (.32 percent); Japan (.29 percent); Taiwan (.28 percent); and Korea (.2 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program.  Work will be performed in Eagan, Minn., and the expected completion date is July 2006.  Contract funds will not expire before the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Inventory Control Point is the contracting activity.
