CONTRACTS

 

NATIONAL GEOSPATIAL-INTELLIGENCE AGENCY

 

            DigitalGlobe of Longmont, CO is being awarded a $24,000,000 firm fixed price contract modification.  This award is within the previously established $500,000,000 contract ceiling.  The supplies to be procured are high resolution commercial satellite imagery.  The performance period is Feb. 1, 2006 through Jan. 31, 2007.  At this time, $2,000,000 FY06 O&M funding has been obligated.  The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, is the contracting activity (NMA30103C0001/P00053).

 

            Space Imaging of Thornton, CO is being awarded a $24,000,000 firm fixed price contract modification.  This award is within the previously established $500,000,000 contract ceiling.  The supplies to be procured are high resolution commercial satellite imagery.  The performance period is Feb. 1, 2006 through Jan. 31, 2007.  At this time, $2,000,000 FY06 O&M funding has been obligated.  The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, is the contracting activity (NMA30103C0002/P00039).

 

            ORBIMAGE of Dulles, VA is being awarded a $12,000,000 firm fixed price contract modification.  This award is within the previously established $500,000,000 contract ceiling.  The supplies to be procured are high resolution commercial satellite imagery.  The performance period is Feb.1, 2006 through Jan. 31, 2007.  At this time, $2,000,000 FY06 O&M funding has been obligated.  The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, is the contracting activity (HM157304C0003/P00022).

 

AIR FORCE

 

            Booz Allen, Hamilton Incorporated,McClean, Va., is being awarded a $56,590,302 (estimated) cost plus fixed fee, requirements, research and development contract modification.  This action is for the operation of the Survivability/Vulnerability Information Analysis Center (SURVIAC) for a 4-year option period beginning January 06.  The mission is to perform the functions of a full service Department of Defense Information Analysis Center as described in DoD Regulation 3200.12-R-2, "Centers for analysis of scientific and technical information in the vital technical area of non-nuclear survivability/vulnerability."  This includes survivability for aeronautical/ground vehicles/ships/spacecraft, weapons effectiveness, and Homeland Security/Homeland Defense.  One three-year option on the contract remains.  The subject contract included a three-year base performance period, and two options periods, for a total length of 120 months.  This work will be complete in January 2011.  At this time, no funds have been obligated.  Headquarters 55th Wing (ACC), Offutt Air Force Base, Neb. , is the contracting activity (SP0700-03-D-1380/P00011).

 

            Northrop Grumman Information Technology, McLean, Va., is being awarded a $10,058,484 firm fixed option year 1 – GSA order contract.  This contract information technology services will support the Technical Training Management System which provides computer-based tools to help the technical training organizations located at Goodfellow AFB, TX, Keesler AFB, Miss., Lackland AFB, TX, Maxwell AFB, Ala., Randolph AFB, TX, Sheppard AFB, TX, and Vandenberg AFB, Calif.  This work will be completed in December 2006.  At this time $5,058,487 has been obligated.  The Headquarters Air Education and Training Command, Randolph Air Force Base, TX, is the contracting activity (FA3089-05-F-0040) (GSA Contract GS-35F-4506G).

 

            FMC Technologies, Jetway Systems Division, Ogden, UT, is being awarded a $9,034,906 firm fixed price fee contract.  This action provides for trailer mounted air conditioner.  This effort is for a basic contract period for two pre-production samples, test data, technical manuals, instructional media, provisioning data, the best estimated quality is for 140 for production.  This work will be completed in January 2007.  At this time, no funds have been obligated.  The Headquarters Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins Air Force Base, Ga. , is the contracting activity (FA8533-06-D-0001).

 

NAVY

 

            Shaw Remediation Services, LLC, Virginia Beach, Va., is being awarded $25,000,000 under previously awarded cost-plus-award-fee contract (N62470-02-D-3260) to exercise Option 3 for environmental remediation services at sites ranked on the Superfund National Priority List, Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, underground storage tanks and other sites that might require remedial action.  The current total estimated contract amount after exercise of this option will be $100,000,000.  Work will be performed at Department of Navy and Marine Corps installations and other government agencies under the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic area of responsibility including, but not limited to, the states of Virginia (19 percent); North Carolina (19 percent); West Virginia (19 percent); Maryland (19 percent); Washington, D.C. (19 percent) and other locations, as required by the Government which may also include remote sites (5 percent).  The term of the contract is from 6 January 2006 – 5 January 2007.  Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The basic contract was competitively procured via the NAVFAC e-solicitation website with seven proposals received and award made on Jan. 6, 2003.  The potential total contract amount is not to exceed $125,000,000.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity.

 

            Northrop Grumman Corp., Air Combat Systems, El Segundo, Calif., is being awarded a $24,776,756 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-06-C-0080) for the procurement of 37 shipsets of center barrel replacement plus hardware in support of the Service Life Extension Program for the Navy F/A-18A/B/C/D aircraft.  Work will be performed in El Segundo, Calif. (83 percent); Amityville, N.Y. (12.11 percent); and Ravenswood, W.Va. (4.89 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2008.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River Md., is the contracting activity.

 

            Acterna Corp., Germantown, Md., is being awarded an $8,855,000 firm-fixed- price requirements contract to manufacture bit error rate testers to support the general purpose Electric Test Equipment Weapons System.  Work will be performed in Germantown, Md., and is expected to be completed by December 2010.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured, with 14 proposals solicited and two offers received.  The Naval Inventory Control Point is the contracting activity (N00104-06-D-X403).

 

            Bearing Point, Lexington Park, Md., is being awarded a $5,088,089 firm-fixed-price order against a previously awarded Blanket Purchase Agreement (N00421-00-A-0351).  This order provides integrator services for the Naval Air Systems Command SIGMA Enterprise Resource Planning System.  Work will be performed in Lexington Park, Md., and is expected to be completed in November 2006.  Contract funds in the amount of $5,088,089 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

 

            Seagoing Uniforms, Marshville, N.C., * is being awarded a maximum $5,003,677 firm fixed price contract for Navy utility trousers.  Location(s) of performance is Robersonville, N.C.  Proposals were Web-solicited and five responded.  This is an indefinite quantity type contract exercising option year 1.  Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Date of completion is March 31, 2007.  The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP), Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0100-04-D-0457)
