CONTRACTS

NAVY

Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, Patuxent River, Md., is being awarded a $39,174,406 modification to a previous awarded fixed-priced-incentive-fee contract (N00019-99-C-1090) for the incorporation of Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) V-22-0447 for rework of three Lot IV MV-22 (Marine variant) Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) tiltrotor aircraft to a Block A/B configuration. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas (42 percent); Ridley Park, Pa. (30 percent) and Amarillo, Texas (28 percent) and, is expected to be completed in December 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.

Bell Boeing Joint Program Office, Patuxent River, Md., is being awarded an $8,857,000 ceiling priced order under previously awarded contract (N00383-03-G-001B) for procurement of Interface Cancellor and Auxillary Power Unit spares for the CV 22 Osprey. Work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pa. (60 percent), and Fort Worth, Texas (40 percent), and is expected to be completed by June 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point is the contracting activity (Order 0016).

ARMY

Mine Safety Appliances Co., Newport, Vt., was awarded on June 21, 2004, a $26,297,769 firm-fixed-price contract for 85,800 TC2000 Helmets and 858 Spare Parts Kits. Work will be performed in Newport, Vt. (60 percent) and Murrysville, Pa. (40 percent), and is expected to be completed by Dec. 30, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The U.S. Army Research, Development and Acquisition Command, Natick, Mass., is the contracting activity (W911QY-04-F-0236).

Specialty Defense Systems of Pa. Inc.*, Dunmore, Pa., was awarded on June 21, 2004, a $23,319,722 firm-fixed-price contract for 78,000 Warrior Helmets and 780 Spare Parts Kits. Work will be performed in Dunmore, Pa., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 31, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Olin Corp., East Alton, Ill., was awarded on June 22, 2004, a $16,245,989 firm-fixed-price contract for 1,206,000 Caliber .50 Sabot Light Armor Penetrator (M903) and Sabot Light Armor Penetrator Tracers (M962) Cartridges and 540,000 Caliber. 50 Sabot Light Armor Penetrator Tracers. Work will be performed in East Alton, Ill. (53 percent), Jonesborough, Tenn. (16 percent), Towanda, Pa. (16 percent), Hopkins, Minn. (7 percent), Wood Dale, Ill. (2 percent), Jamestown, N.Y. This Provisioned Items Order modification will procure the following spare parts for the USAF F-16C Aircraft: Multifunction Common Color Display 100 each; Electronic Horizontal Situation Indicator 50 each; Common Data Entry Electronic Unit 48 each; Advanced Identification Friend or Foe System Combined Interrogator Transponder 21 each; Display Color Programmable Generator 65 each. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by May 2006.
