CONTRACTS

NAVY

EDO-Darlington, Incorporated, Wando, S.C., is being awarded a $240,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed-price/time and material maximum contract for procurement of up to 476 transition switch modules. Transition switch modules provide a flexible unit level switch capability to transition between legacy tri-service tactical switches and current commercial technology providing three major functions -- thedeployable end office suite (DEOS), the remote subscriber access module (RSAM), and the deployable integrated transport suite (DITS). The DEOS will provide a basic voice circuit switching, subscriber access and call service attendant capabilities. The RSAM will provide the capability to extend telephone and dial-up data services to remote subscribers. The DITS will be used in conjunction with a DEOS to provide bandwidth management, multiplexing, and technical control functions. Components of the DEOS and DITS will be integrated into transit and storage cases for unit transport. The contract includes testing, associated training, training devices, spares, contractor interim support services, field service representatives, engineering/logistics services, and provisioning technical documentation. Work will be performed in Wando, S.C., and is expected to be completed September 2011. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Federal Business Opportunity website and the Marine Corps Systems Commands website, with three offers received. The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico Marine Base, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity (M67854-04-D-7057).

AIR FORCE

S & K Technologies, Ignatius, Mont., is being awarded a $27,020,000 cost and firm fixed price contract modification to provide for multinational repair and return contract for management and repair of repairable assemblies and associated intermediate and depot support equipment. The majority of this contract is for Saudi Arabia. The contract allows use by and foreign country and also by the USAF. This effort supports foreign military sales to Saudi Arabia. The locations of performance are: S & K Technologies, Warner Robins, Ga. (51 percent) and TAMSCO, Warner Robins, Ga. (49 percent). Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by March 2005. The Headquarters Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., is the contracting activity (F09603-01-C-0027, P00032).

MWH-ALL Star Joint Centure, Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., is being awarded a $25,000,000 indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery contract. This project includes, but is not limited to: plan, design, manage and perform all work associated with a wide variety of construction projects in support of real property maintenance, repair, alteration and/or new construction at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, Dare County Bomb Range, and Ft. Fisher, N.C. Efforts will include various construction trades and disciplines. The work involved includes, but is not limited to carpentry, road repair, roofing, excavation, interior and electrical, steam fitting, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, demolition, concrete masonry, and welding. The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, although actual requirements may necessitate less than the amount above. This action is for the award of a basic contract for a base period of six months plus four option periods of one year each. No funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by December 2004. Solicitation began December 2003. The 4th Fighter Wing, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., is the contracting activity (FA4809-04-DC002).

ABA Industries Incorporated, Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded a $8,353,796.70 firm fixed price contract to provide for blade outer air 50, 479 duct segments, applicable to the F100 engine. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by February 2006. Solicitation began April 2004. The Headquarters Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (FA8104-04-C-0113).

ARMY

Readiness Management Support L.C.*, Panama City, Fla., was awarded on June 9, 2004, a $10,510,712 construction contract for design and construction for 12 mega watts at Victory Base Power Plant, transformer substation and associated distribution system. Work will be performed in Baghdad, Iraq, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 14 bids solicited on March 23, 2004, and 14 bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baghdad, Iraq, is the contracting activity (W916QW-04-C-0013).

Bristol Environmental & Engineering Services Corp.*, Anchorage, Alaska, was awarded on June 9, 2004, a $5,210,874 firm-fixed-price contract for the White Alice Tram and debris removal at the Northeast Cape, St. Lawrence Island. Work will be performed in Gambell, Alaska (90 percent) and Anchorage, Alaska (10 percent), and is expected to be completed by July 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 26 bids solicited on April 2, 2004, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Engineer District, Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, is the contracting activity (W911KB-04-C-0019).

General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products, Burlington, Vt., was awarded on June 14, 2004, a delivery order amount of $2,850,000 as part of a $28,381,440 firm-fixed-price contract for 3,000 M2 machine gun barrels. Work will be performed in Saco, Maine, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on Jan. 15, 2004, and five bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (W52H09-04-D-0108).

Sabre Defence Industries L.L.C.*, Nashville, Tenn., was awarded on June 14, 2004, a delivery order amount of $2,400,000 as part of a $28,381,440 firm-fixed-price contract for 3,000 M2 machine gun barrels. Work will be performed in Nashville, Tenn., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on Jan. 15, 2004, and five bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (W52H09-04-D-0107).

Breton Industries Inc.*, Amsterdam, N.Y., was awarded on June 10, 2004, a delivery order amount of $141,372 as part of a $5,654,880 firm-fixed-price contract for fitted covers for the High Mobility Multi Wheeled Vehicles. Work will be performed in Amsterdam, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Jan. 14, 2004, and four bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-04-D-0110).
