CONTRACTS

AIR FORCE

General Electric Aircraft Engines, Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded $453,400,000 firm fixed price contract modification to provide for Replenishment Spare Parts for the TF39, TF34 and J85 engines, 109 items priced per this modification, various estimated quantities. At this time $0 of the funds have been obligated. The Headquarters Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (F41608-00-D-0323, P00019).

ARMY

Raytheon Co., Bedford, Mass., was awarded on June 7, 2004, a $13,348,502 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for eight Battery Fire Direction Center Master Kits. Work will be performed in Kongsberg, Norway (79.8 percent), Tewksbury, Mass. (10.4 percent), Bedford, Mass. (7.9 percent), and Andover, Mass. (1.9 percent), and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Nov. 23, 2002. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH01-03-C-0012).

Point Blank Body Armor Inc.*, Oakland Park, Fla., was awarded on June 7, 2004, a delivery order amount of $11,897,120 as part of a $239,400,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the Interceptor Body Armor Extremity Protection Deltoid and Axillary Protectors. Work will be performed in Oakland, Park, Fla., and is expected to be completed by June 6, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on May 4, 2004, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity (W91CRB-04-D-0014).

Honeywell International, Phoenix, Ariz., was awarded on June 7, 2004, an $11,308,011 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for systems technical support for the automotive gas turbine engine and the Abrams Engine Improvement Program. Work will be performed in Phoenix, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 30, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on April 22, 1996. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-96-C-A002).

NAVY

McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo. is being awarded a $9,400,000 not-to-exceed modification to a previously awarded fixed-price-incentive/award-fee contract (N00019-03-C-0041) for the procurement of F/A-18E/F peculiar support equipment in support of the updated site activation plan from the Transition Support Process Action Team 34. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo., and is expected to be completed in December 2004. Contract funds will expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
