Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space Co., Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $39,400,000 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to adjust the Space Based Infrared System High Program to match the funding profile. this modification extends delivery dates for the Highly-Elliptical Orbit Payload by three months, and the Geosynchronous Space Vehicles 1, 2, and 3 and Ground Increment 2 by four months. Lockheed Martin Tactical Aircraft Systems, Ft. Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $27,650,188 face value increase to a fixed-price-incentive-fee contract to provide for 150 retrofit kits to facilitate integration of an Advanced Identification Friend or Foe Transponder into the F-16 aircraft. Systems and Electronics, Inc., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $72,197,754 face value increase to an undefinitized-contractual-action & firm-fixed-price contract to provide for long lead materials and initial start-up for forty-four 60K (Tunner) Loaders. The Loader is a mobile vehicle that is used to load and unload pallets from transport aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed January 1999. Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a $25,483,928 modification to a firm-fixed-price, multi-year contract to exercise the option for a total of 56 External Stores Support System (ESSS) kits in support of the UH-60L Blackhawk helicopter, in accordance with the Mission Flexibility Kit Option Clause H-30 of the contract. H&R Co. (a joint venture of Hughes Aircraft Co. and Raytheon Co.), El Segundo, Calif., is being awarded an $11,928,000 increment as part of an estimated $292,000,000 (if all options are exercised) cost reimbursement, cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-award-fee, and cost-plus-fixed-fee completion contract for the Joint Land Attack Cruise Missile Defense Elevated Netted Sensor System (JLENS) Demonstration Program, which has three primary objectives. The first is mitigation of the risk associated with the execution of the program; the second is design, development, procurement, fabrication, integration, test, demonstration, and maintenance of a system which meets the performance specification; and the third is to provide an operational "leave behind" system for user evaluation and for use in the event of a contingency deployment. Work will be performed in El Segundo, Calif. (44%); Bedford, Mass. (44%); Columbia, Md. (10%); San Bernardino, Calif.
