ARMY

Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc., Fort Worth, Texas was awarded on Jan. 21, 1998, a $9,448,722 modification to a firm-fixed price contract for definitization of production lot 14 for thirteen (13) OH-58D aircraft and related services. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract solicited on June 28, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala (DAAJ09-96-C-0139).

Lockheed Martin Missiles & Space, Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $4,000,000 increment as part of a $49,900,000 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for Payload Launch Vehicle - Extended (PLV-X); provide four (4) sets of flight qualified hardware capable of placing Exoatmospheric Kill Vehicle (EKV) payloads on predetermined trajectories to support demonstration of EKV performance against representative target suites in support of National Missile Defense (NMD) deployment readiness test and evaluation. Work will be performed in Sunnyvale, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Dec 9, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Space & Strategic Defense Command, Huntsville, Ala (DASG60-98-C-0011).

NAVY

  • OHM Remediation Services Corp., Trenton, N.J., is being awarded a $20,835,000 cost-plus-award-fee, multi-contaminant remedial action contract to provide for remedial action at Navy and Marine Corps installations and other government agencies located on the east coast
  • of the United States. This total contract amount is not to exceed $250,000,000. Work will be performed on the east coast including, but not limited to, sites predominantly in Virginia, North Carolina, West Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C., and is expected to be completed by September 1998. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 97 proposals solicited and four offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic Division, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity (N62470-97-D-5000).

Bell Technologies, Inc., Metrum Div., Littleton, Colo., is being awarded a $19,708,260 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for buffered airborne digital data cassette storage systems which will be installed on various Navy, Air Force, and Army aircraft and at various military sites. Work will be performed in Littleton, Colo., and is expected to be completed by January 2001. Contract funds in the amount of $300,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 25 proposals solicited and one offer received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68936-98-D-0050).
