DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Joseph Webb Foods*, Vista, Calif., is being awarded a $26,500,000 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for food and beverage support under the Prime Vendor program. Seventy-five proposals were solicited and three were received. Work is expected to be completed by Jan. 12, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO300-98-D-2912).

NAVY

Alliant Techsystems, Inc., Hopkins. Minn., is being awarded a $9,101,783 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity delivery order contract for the labor, equipment, and materials needed to provide technology support for the Uncooled Focal Plane Array. Work will be performed in Hopkins, Minn. (80%), and China Lake, Calif. (20%), and is expected to be completed by January 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured by a Request for Proposal with ten proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68936-98-D-0032).

J.A. Jones Management Services, Inc., Charlotte, N.C., is being awarded a $5,529,000 task order under a multiple awardee contract for an addition to the existing Aegis Computer Center at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Va. Work will be performed in Dahlgren, Va., and is expected to be completed by February 1999. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively negotiated with 54 proposals solicited and four offers received. These four contractors compete for each task order under the terms and conditions of the existing multiple awardee contract. The Engineering Field Activity Chesapeake, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N62477-96-D-0156) (Order 0007).
