DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Bindley Western Industries, Inc., Indianapolis, Ind., was awarded on Jan, 2, 1998, a $16,350,193 firm-fixed-price modified-requirements contract for pharmaceuticals under the Prime Vendor program. Forty-eight proposals were solicited and four were received. Work will be performed in Shelby, N.C., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 1, 1999. DEFENSE ADVANCED RESEARCH PROJECTS AGENCY

Lockheed Martin AM3 Consortium, Dallas, Texas, on Dec. 31, 1997, signed an "other transaction" with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) for research in support of the Affordable Multi-Missile Manufacturing (AM3) Program. The agreement total is $46,000,000. The government is funding $23,000,000 of this, with $5,777,275 being awarded Dec. 31, 1997. The balance of the agreement is funded by industry. Work will be performed in Dallas, Texas (41%), Orlando, Fla. (54%), and Clearwater, Fla. (5%). The agreement is the result of a solicitation issued on February 26, 1997; three bids were solicited and three received. Work will be completed in February 2000. $5,777,275 of the funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. NAVY

The Boeing Co., Information, Space & Defense Systems, Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $28,690,212 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-97-C-0037 for the performance of the Joint Strike Fighter Program Integrated Core Processing Technical Demonstration. Work will be performed in Seattle, Wash. (54%), Los Angeles, Calif. (32%), and Melbourne, Fla. (14%), and is expected to be completed in September 2000. Lockheed Martin Tactical Defense Systems, St. Paul, Minn., is being awarded a $23,365,488 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-94-C-0156 to exercise an option to procure eight Anti-Submarine Underwater Improvement Program kits for the P-3C Update III aircraft. Work will be performed in Eagan, Minn. (59%) and Greenville, S.C. (41%), and is expected to be completed in August 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. Compliance Corp., Lexington Park, Md., is being awarded a $21,741,882 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, time and material, firm-fixed-price contract for engineering and technical support services in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, St. Inigoes efforts in the design, development, integration, test and evaluation, installation, certification, maintenance, and integrated logistics support of fleet C3 systems. Work will be performed in St. Inigoes, Md. (50%) and Lexington Park, Md. (50%), and is expected to be completed by January 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. AVISYS Inc., Austin, Texas, is being awarded a $15,253,337 cost-plus-fixed-fee, level of effort, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, task order contract for engineering and technical support services in support of the Electronic Warfare Advanced Technology (EWAT) Program. Work will be performed in Austin, Texas (70%), Point Mugu, Calif. (20%), and China Lake, Calif. (10%), and is expected to be completed by January 2001. AIR FORCE

Litton Systems Inc., Woodland Hills, Calif., is being awarded a $12,482,215 firmed- fixed-price requirements type contract for overhaul and repair of LN35 Inertial Navigational Equipment applicable to the Air Launch Cruise Missile (ALCM). Contract is expected to be completed in January 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of current fiscal year. The solicitation was issued in June 1997, and negotiations were completed in December 1997. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-98-D0035).

The Spectrum Building, San Antonio, Texas, was awarded on Dec. 31, 1997, a $2,350,000 firm-fixed-price, delivery order against indefinite quantity contract to provide for environmental architect-engineering services in support of the Fiscal Year 1998 Basewide Remedial Assessment at Kelly Air Force Base, Texas. In accordance with Congressional instruction, this contract is being announced as $1,057,760 of these funds are from the Defense Environmental Restoration Account. ARMY

Sverdrup Facilities Inc., Arlington, Va., is being awarded $500,000 as part of a $30,000,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery contract for architect engineering for Pentagon renovation and design management services - tenant fit-out. Work will be performed in Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 23, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
