DEFENSE LOGISITICS AGENCY

Propper International Inc., Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, is being awarded a $27,357,976 firm-fixed-price with indefinite-quantity/delivery type of contract for enhanced hot weather trouser, woodland camouflage, Type VI, for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Marine Corps. Work will also be performed at Cabo Rojo, Adjuntas, and Lajas, Puerto Rico. Performance completion date is scheduled for Oct. 23, 2003. This contract is exercising its third year option period. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 35 proposals solicited, and six responded. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0100-00-D-0307).

Ssangyong (U.S.A.) Inc., Paramus, N.J., is being awarded a $13,387,253 fixed-price with economic price adjustment for 19,740,000 U.S. gallons of JP8 for the U.S. Air Force. Work will also be performed in Ulsan Metropolitan City, Korea. Performance completion date is scheduled for Jan. 30, 2003. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were nine proposals solicited, and four responded. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-03-D-0453).

American Apparel Inc., Selma, Ala., is being awarded an $11,966,573 firm-fixed-price with indefinite-quantity/delivery type of contract for enhanced hot weather trouser, woodland camouflage, Type VI, for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Marine Corps. Work will also be performed at Fort Deposit, Ala. Performance completion date is scheduled for Oct. 23, 2003. This contract is exercising its third year option period. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 35 proposals solicited, and six responded. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0100-99-R-0060).

ARMY

Fenn Manufacturing Co., Newington, Conn., was awarded on Oct. 21, 2002, a $10,382,566 firm-fixed-price contract for 122 swashplate controls applicable to the AH-64 aircraft. Work will be performed in Newington, Conn., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on July 10, 2001. The U. S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Huntsville, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH23-02-C-0300).

EFW Inc., Fort Worth, Texas, was awarded on Oct. 18, 2002, a delivery order amount of $7,859,776 as part of an $11,441,468 firm-fixed-price contract for first action against the long-term effort for procurement of various spare parts in support of the Bradley A3 program. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 19, 2001. The U. S. Army Tank and Automotive Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (DAAE2002-G-0006).
