ARMY

E. L. Yeager Construction Co., Riverside, Calif., was awarded on Oct. 17, 2002, a $500,000 increment as part of a $25,368,090 firm-fixed-price contract for concrete trapezoidal channel, excavated sediment basins; drop structure, soil cement bank protection, low flow channel and environmental corridor. Work will be performed in Redlands, Calif. (60%) and Loma Linda, Calif. (40%), and is expected to be completed by Nov. 1, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on June 27, 2002, and seven bids were received. The U. S. Army Engineer District, Los Angeles, Calif., is the contracting activity (DACW09-03-C-0001).

AquaTerra Contracting Inc., Robstown, Texas, is being awarded a $10,000 increment as part of an $11,117,542.50 firm-fixed-price contract for the Louisiana Hurricane Protection Project. Work will be performed in New Orleans, La., and is expected to be completed by May 13, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 96 bids solicited on Aug. 2, 2002, and two bids were received. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans, La., is the contracting activity (DACW29-03-C-0001).

AIR FORCE

ASRC Communications, Albuquerque, N.M., is being awarded a $16,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract, and Cirrus Technology, Huntsville Alabama, is being awarded a $9,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide operational test and evaluation (OT&E) support personnel for Headquarters Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center (HQ AFOTEC), detachments and operating locations. The contract will support AFOTEC organizations with academically skilled and operationally knowledgeable personnel to support the administration, planning, and conducting of OT&E activities. The management of OT&E is accomplished through the AFOTEC core processes, the business management process, the product delivery process, and the product assessment process. The scope of this acquisition includes personnel with expertise in analytical, engineering, and technical expertise. The expertise will be utilized during operational test, DoD operational field expertise, and operational test of new systems. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. The Air Force can award delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, though actual requirements may necessitate less than that amount. The location of performance is HQ AFOTEC-Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M. 87117. At this time, no funds have been obligated. This work will be completed by October 2007. Solicitation began June 2002 and negotiations were completed October 2002. The Headquarters Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center, Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M., is the contracting activity (FA7046-03-D-002, FA7046-03-D-0003).
