ARMY

General Motors Military Vehicles, Troy, Mich., is being awarded a delivery order amount of $1,861,137 as part of a $20,962,670 firm-fixed-price contract for 4,812 cylinder heads for the High Mobility Multi-Wheeled Vehicle engine. Work will be performed in Franklin, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by November 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on July 1, 2002, and two bids were received. The U. S. Army Tank and Automotive Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-02-D-S073).

Hunter Manufacturing Co., Solon, Ohio, is being awarded a $12,422,017 firm-fixed-price contract for 3,024 forced air ventilation personnel heaters for combat vehicles. Work will be performed in Solon, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on June 27, 2002, and one bid was received. The U. S. Army Tank and Automotive Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-02-C-M065).

DEFENSE LOGISITICS AGENCY

Pocono Produce Co.*, Stroudsburg, Pa., is being awarded a $6,000,000 firm-fixed-price with indefinite-quantity type of contract for full line food distribution for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force and Coast Guard/Job Corps. This contract is exercising its first one-year option. Performance completion date is scheduled for Oct. 3, 2003. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 42 proposals solicited, and two responded. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0300-02-D-3019).

NAVY

Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock Co., Newport News, Va., is being awarded a $5,878,888 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-99-C-2100) for aircraft carrier engineering support services. The contract will provide engineering, technical and design agent services in support of aircraft carrier programs. This effort includes conducting and supporting feasibility and tradeoff studies on new and modified shipboard systems and supporting ship design efforts. Work will be performed in Newport News, Va., and is to be completed by September 2003. Contract funds in the amount of $5,878,888 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

REDCOM Laboratories Inc., Victor, N.Y., is being awarded a $5,339,780 firm-fixed-price contract for 17 tactical dual voice modules (nine main and eight user), and eight mission support kits, cable distribution kits and voice mail platforms to support the Integrated Services Digital Network basic rate interfaces, the Integrated Services Digital Network primary rate interfaces and SS7 and C7 signaling systems that are utilized by U.S. Central Command Deployable Communications for Operation Enduring Freedom. Work will be performed in Victor, N.Y. and is to be completed in December 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, St. Inigoes, Md., is the contracting activity (N00421-03-C-0005).
