ARMY

BMAR & Associates Inc.*, Hopkinsville, Ky., is being awarded $5,500,000 as part of a $27,500,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, firm-fixed-price contract. An appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each task order. The contractor will provide preventive maintenance and equipment inventory at all Category 500 facilities and Non-Category 500 facilities that directly support Category 500 facilities for the U.S. Army Medical Command. Work will be performed at various locations inside and outside of the continental United States, and is expected to be completed by March 20, 2005. There were 72 bids solicited on June 1, 1999, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile, Ala., is the contracting activity (DACA01-00-D-0020).

United Defense LP, Ground Systems Division, Santa Clara, Calif., is being awarded a $22,470,720 modification to cost-plus-fixed-fee contract DAAE07-95-C-X030, for systems technical support for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System Program. Work will be performed in Santa Clara, Calif., and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2000. Of the total contract funds, $11,049,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on May 31, 1995. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.

Oshkosh Truck Corp., Oshkosh, Wis., is being awarded a $12,717,553 delivery order amount as part of firm-fixed-price contract DAAE07-97-D-X010, for Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Trucks Load Handling Systems (HEMTT LHS) as follows: 15 HEMTT LHS with winch; 69 HEMTT LHS without winch, and 19 HEMTT chassis without winch. Work will be performed in Oshkosh, Wis., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Jan. 28, 1997. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.

General Electric Co., Lynn, Mass., is being awarded a $10,019,348 delivery order amount as part of firm-fixed-price contract DAAJ09-97-D-0196, for the purchase of 16 engines as follows: 12 engines complete (401C) for the Navy and four FMS 701C spare engines complete, without warranty and with container for Singapore. Work will be performed in Lynn, Mass., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on June 20, 1997. The U.S. Army Aviation & Troop Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

The Boeing Company, St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $9,382,155 option to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for low rate initial production of 11 upgrade kits, one operational flight trainer, one mission planning system, and associated data in support of the avionics system on the T-38C aircraft. Expected contract completion date is Aug. 31, 2001. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-95-C-0057-P00064).

Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $6,997,856 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide for system engineering and integration support for Synthetic Aperture Radar/Electronic Counter-Countermeasures technologies and analysis and evaluation of Electronic Protection techniques. Expected contract completion date is March 7, 2005. Solicitation issue date was Nov. 19, 1998. Negotiation completion date was March 1, 2000. Air Force Research Laboratory, Rome, NY, is the contracting activity (F30602-00-C-0030).

EDO Corporation, North Amityville, NY., is being awarded a $5,451,975 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 85 BRU57 smart bomb racks applicable to the F-16 aircraft. Expected contract completion date is June 30, 2003. Air Armament Center, Eglin AFB, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08635-00-C-0028-P00001).
