DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

La Gloria Oil and Gas Company, Bellaire, Texas, is being awarded an estimated $23,489,700 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for aviation turbine fuel, JP8. Three hundred thirty-six proposals were solicited, and 19 were received. Work is expected to be completed by April 30, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-99-D-0478).

ARMY

Hewlett Packard Company, Huntsville, Ala., is being awarded a $1,695,375 modification (cumulative total $12,798,703) to a firm-fixed-price indefinite quantity contract for Local Area Network and Wide Area Network Analyzers for Signal Corps communications. Work will be performed in Colorado Springs, Colo. and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on Jan. 5, 1999, and two bids received. The U. S. Army Aviation & Missile Command (AMCOM), Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH01-99-D-0027).

Jim Sellers Construction Company, Sapulpa, Okla., is being awarded a $8,511,345 firm- fixed-priced contract for an ammunition container complex, McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, Okla. consisting of four sites with three pre-engineered buildings, two large concrete slabs designed for heavy loads, gravel roads and approximately 4,439 meters of railroad construction. Site work includes line modifications under 4,439 meters of rail, utilities such as electrical, water, sewer, phone and fiber optics to each site, and fencing. Buildings include administrative facilities, baths and open bays for work. Work will be performed at McAlester Army Ammunitions Plant, McAlester, Okla. and is expected to be completed by Aug. 8, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 211 bids solicited on Jan. 26, 1999, and six bids received. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa, Okla., is the contracting activity (DACA56-99-C-0027).

United Defense, Limited Partnership Ground Systems Division-York, York, Pa., is being awarded a $30,213,996 modification to a $273,201,151 firm-fixed-price contract for 15 each FY99 Hercules (M88A2) vehicles and associated support. Work will be performed in York, Pa., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract solicited on Nov. 8, 1998. The U. S. Army Automotive & Armaments Command (TACOM), Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity. (DAAE07-94-0429)

TASC, Inc., Reading, Mass., is being awarded a $99,768 increment as part of a $5,874,159 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the development of theoretical foundations and innovation technologies that enable dynamic information control and subsequently to integrate and transition the resultant technologies into DoD pilot services and operational environments. Work will be performed in Reading, Mass., and is expected to be completed by March 17, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Bids were solicited by Commerce Business Daily/Broad Agency Announcement on May 8, 1998, and 27 bids were received. The U. S. Army Training & Doctrine Command, Fort Hauchuca, Ariz., is the contracting activity. (DABT63-99-C-0018).

NAVY

Lockheed Martin, Government Electronic Systems, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a $16,860,000 modification (#P00031) to previously awarded contract N00024-98-C-5197 to exercise an option for FY 99-05 Aegis combat system baseline upgrades and critical experiments. The contract covers development and integration of Aegis combat system baseline computer program hardware and software upgrades for Aegis destroyers DDG 91 and following ships. Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J., and is expected to be completed by September 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Unidyne Corp., Norfolk, Va., is being awarded a $5,048,101 indefinite-quantity/ indefinite-delivery, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide services for engineering, technical installation, manufacturing, and logistics of navigation systems and equipment for all Navy ships. This contract contains an option, which, if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of the contract to $33,297,188. Work will be performed in Norfolk, Va. (38%); San Diego, Calif. (23%); Groton, Conn. (15%); Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (13%); and Mayport, Fla. (11%), and

is expected to be completed by March 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 51 proposals solicited and three offers received. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N65236-99-D-3812).
