ARMY

Alliant Lake City Small Caliber Ammunition Company L.L.C., Independence, Mo., was awarded on May 15, 2003, a delivery order amount of $10,140,139 as part of a $194,496,989 firm-fixed-price contract for various quantities of small caliber ammunition type 7.62mm. Work will be performed in Independence, Mo., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on July 30, 1999, and two bids were received. The U. S. Army Joint Munitions Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (DAAA09-99-D-0016).

Manhattan Construction Co., Fairfax, Va., was awarded on May 12, 2003, a $49,449,000 firm-fixed-price contract for modernization of the Bell Lincoln School. Work will be performed in Washington, D.C., and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 30 bids solicited on Nov. 12, 2002, and five bids were received. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore, Md., is the contracting activity (DACW31-03-C-0023).

Tidewater Skanska Inc., Virginia Beach, Va., was awarded on May 16, 2003, a $12,266,210 firm-fixed-price contract for a Second Access Road Bridge Crossing. Work will be performed at Fort Eustis, Va., and is expected to be completed by June 13, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 51 bids solicited on March 7, 2003, and five bids were received. The U. S. Army Engineer District, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity (DACA65-03-C-0042).

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, Marion, Ill., was awarded on May 16, 2003, a $10,181,358.34 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for 861,674 cartridges for the 20MM PGU-28A/B. Work will be performed in Marion, Ill., and is expected to be completed by Feb. 28, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Dec. 10, 2001. The U.S. Army Joint Munitions Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (DAAA09-00-C-0001).

Fraser Manufacturing Inc., Lexington, Mich., was awarded on May 15, 2003, a delivery order amount of $1,951,027 as part of an $8,945,594 firm-fixed-price contract for M122A1 and M3 mounts and traverse and elevating mechanisms. Work will be performed in Lexington, Mich., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 30, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were three bids solicited on Jan. 3, 2003, and two bids were received. The U. S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (DAAE20-03-D-0108).

T Fab Huntsville L.L.C., Anchorage, Alaska, was awarded on May 16, 2003, a delivery order amount of $5,263,598 as part of a $5,263,598 firm-fixed-price contract for design, production, inspection and delivery of 26 PATRIOT PAC-3 missile round trainers. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 31, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 14, 2003. The U. S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH01-00-G-0005).

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Mission Systems, Colorado Springs, Colo., is being awarded an $18,732,681 cost-plus-award-fee contract modification to provide for the Theater Battle Management Core Systems (TBMCS) program. The TBMCS program provides force and unit level commanders an automated command, control and intelligence capability that greatly improves the joint forces air campaigns and commanders' ability to plan and execute theater air campaigns and operations. This action covers the remaining effort for the development, integration, and test of spiral 1.1.3 and selected long lead items. Spiral 1.1.3 is projected to be complete with government testing in April 2004. At this time, $12,994,402 of the funds has been obligated. This work is estimated to be complete by May 2004. The Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-95-C-0143, P00361).

Olmos Construction, Inc., San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a $7,000,000 (maximum) indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide for all labor, materials, and equipment to rebuild and repair base and airfield pavement on Randolph Air Force Base, Canyon Lake, Seguin Auxiliary Airfield, Hondo Auxiliary Airfield and/or Camp Bullis, Texas. At this time, no funds have been obligated. The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, though actual requirements may necessitate less than this amount. This work will be complete by September 2003. Solicitation was posted electronically through Electronic Posting System in January 2003, and two proposals were received. Negotiations were completed in April 2003. The Air Education and Training Command, Randolph Air Force Base, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41691-03-D-0003).

CORRECTION

The contract awarded to Raytheon Aerospace, Pensacola, Fla., on May 14, in the amount of $7,984,865, should have read Raytheon Aerospace, Madison, Miss.

NAVY

Hamilton Sundstrand Power Systems, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $13,531,050 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of 49 MSU200-NAV air start units, associated data and interim spare parts. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by September 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 1 proposal solicited and 1 offer received. The Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity (N68335-03-C-0162).

ERAPSCO, Columbia City, Ind., is being awarded a $10,734,070 firm-fixed-price contract for 2,479 AN/SSQ-101 sonobuoys and associated data. The AN/SSQ-101 sonobuoys are dropped from various airborne platforms and utilized for search and detection of submerged submarines. Work will be performed in DeLeon Springs, Fla. (50%) and Columbia City, Ind. (50%), and is expected to be completed by May 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Crane, Ind., is the contracting activity (N00164-03-C-6722).

Klune Industries, Inc.*, Spanish Fork, Utah, is being awarded a $7,194,315 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of 319 each BRU-32B/A ejector bomb racks. Work will be performed in Spanish Fork, Utah, and is expected to be completed in May 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00421-03-C-0080).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Belleville Shoe Mfg. Co.*, Belleville, Ill., is being awarded a $7,445,022 firm fixed price with indefinite quantity type of contract for boots for the U.S. Army. Work will also be performed in Arkansas. Performance completion date is expected to be May 20, 2004. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Wolverine World Wide Inc., Rockford, Michigan, is being awarded a $6,908,003 firm fixed price with indefinite quantity type of contract for boots for the U.S. Army.
