Northrop Grumman Corp., Integrated Systems Sector, Airborne Ground Surveillance and Battle Management Systems, Melbourne, Fla., is being awarded a $215,000,000 cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for the E-10A, the next generation wide area surveillance platform designed to provide advanced integrated ground and air surveillance and targeting capabilities to provide the war fighter a battle management command and control force multiplier that detects, classifies, characterizes and reports cruise missiles and surface targets to the joint forces within a networked command and control constellation environment. This action covers the weapons system integration portion of the pre-system development and demonstration phase of this program. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. Gulfstream Aerospace Corp., Savannah, Ga., is being awarded a $14,907,400 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for the Peace Lotus III Program, which is a foreign military sales program for the procurement of two Gulfstream G400 aircraft, Cleopatra modification, associated spares, logistics, support equipment, program management and training on behalf of the government of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The aircraft will become part of the Egyptian Presidential Fleet. Current modification is to establish negotiated firm-fixed prices for the outfitting of two aircraft interiors. Previous effort established negotiated firm-fixed prices for the procurement of two "green" aircraft (airframe only, no interior completion), Cleopatra modification and program management. Future effort will establish firm-fixed prices for associated spares, support equipment, logistics and training and will be covered under a separate 1279 report. Total funds have been obligated. DYNETICS Inc., Huntsville, Ala., is being awarded a $5,238,099 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification to provide for development and fabrication of a large precision guided munition. Fourteen tailkits and cradles were procured under this contract. The remainder of this project was assembled by the Air Force Research Laboratory Munitions Directorate Model Shop with parts supplied by various commercial vendors. At this time, $1,059,100 of the funds has been obligated. Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. This work will be complete by June 2003. Anteon Corp., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $5,482,426 ceiling-priced modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-priced contract (N61339-97-C-0070) to incorporate an engineering change to establish an alternate configuration of the Digital Multi-Purpose Range Complex (DMPRC) for sites that have no power or signal cables and reduce configurations for those sites not needing the full complement of capabilities that are included with the DMPRC. Work will be performed in Fort Hood, Texas (78%), and Fort Wainwright, Ark. (22%), and is expected to be completed in December 2004.
