ARMY

STEM International Inc., Edgewood, Md., was awarded on May 5, 2003, a delivery order amount of $366,000 as part of a $60,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract. Work will be performed in Tooele, Utah (45%) and Anniston, Ala. (55%), and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 12 bids solicited on Nov. 22, 2002, and seven bids were received. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (DTRA01-03-D-0012).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Grand Prairie, Texas, was awarded on May 2, 2003, a $10,200,000 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for 2000 engineering services for the upgrade guidance, navigation and control of the Army Tactical Missile System. Work will be performed in Dallas, Texas, and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Dec. 30, 1999. The U. S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH01-00-C-0111).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Valero Marketing and Supply Company, San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a $7,753,100 fixed price with economic price adjustment type of contract for fuel for the government of Israel. Work will also be performed in Texas City, and Corpus Christi, Texas. Performance completion date is expected to be August 31, 2003. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 15 solicitations and three responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Fuel Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-03-D-0501)

Capps Shoe Company *, Lynchburg, Va., is being awarded an $5,421,433 firm fixed price with indefinite quantity/delivery type of contract for women's shoes for the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force. Performance completion date is expected to be May 7, 2004. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 44 solicitations and four responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0100-01-D-0332)
