AIR FORCE

McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Co., Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $59,000,006 cost plus incentive fee contract modification to provide for engineering services. This effort will support the B-1B aircraft. At this time, $59,571,181 of the funds has been obligated. Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. This work will be complete May 2005. This work will be complete November 2002 and negotiations were completed April 2003. The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-99-C-0001-P00178).

Raytheon Co., Tucson Ariz., is being awarded a $10,238,342 firm fixed price contract modification to provide for 329 each, AGM-65H/K Maverick missiles. This action exercises an option for Lot 4 of this production contract. At this time, $885,673 of the funds has been obligated. Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. This work will be complete April 2005. The Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (F08635-02-C-0137, P00003).

Universal Technology Corp., Dayton, Ohio, is being awarded a $9,900,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide a capability to perform special focused studies in the area of air vehicle advanced aero configurations, aero configurations integration, high-speed aerodynamics, aero-thermodynamics, control theory, flight vehicle performance, flow diagnostics, flying qualities, stability and control, computational fluid dynamics and computational electromagnetics research, airframe-propulsion-stores weapons integration, aerospace vehicle demonstration, and general technical support. The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above though actual requirements may necessitate less than this amount. At this time $100,000 of the funds has been obligated. Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. This work will be complete April 2009. Solicitations began September 2002 and negotiations were completed April 2003. The Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33615-03-D-3307).

NAVY

General Electric Aircraft Engines, Government Contracts, Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded a $27,896,100 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-award-fee contract (N00019-96-C-0176) for risk reduction efforts under the pre-system development and demonstration development phase for the F136 propulsion system for the Joint Strike Fighter Air System Program. Work will be performed in Evendale, Ohio, and is expected to be completed in April 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

United Technologies, Corp., East Hartford, Conn., is being awarded a $10,296,000 not-to-exceed indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the Fleet Management Program of the F-16A and F-16B aircraft based at Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center, Fallon, Nev. This effort includes the management and provisioning of organizational and depot level engine material, and depot level labor for maintenance and repair of F100-PW-220 and F100-PW-220E engines, modules, components, and spare parts assigned to these aircraft. Work will be performed in San Antonio, Texas (50%); East Hartford, Conn. (25%); and Fallon, Nev. (25%); and is expected to be completed in March 2004. Contract funds in the amount of $4,147,515 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity (N00019-03-D-0006).

ARMY

DynCorp International L.L.C., Fort Worth, Texas, was awarded on April 29, 2003, a $11,964,239 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for the C12 and UC35 aircraft life cycle support. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on March 8, 2000. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH23-00-C-0226).

Northrup Grumman, Belcamp, Md., was awarded on April 30, 2003, a $6,691,894 increment as part of a $6,691,894 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for contractor logistics services for the fleet of airborne reconnaissance low-multifunction aircraft. Work will be performed in Belcamp, Md., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 5, 2003. The U. S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAB07-03-C-P404).

Torres/Bryan Joint Venture L.L.C., Colorado Springs, Colo., was awarded on April 30, 2003, a delivery order amount of $5,591,069 as part of a $5,591,069 firm-fixed-price contract for design and construction of a visitor center/entry control gate at Schriever Air Force Base. Work will be performed in Colorado Springs, Colo., and is expected to be completed by July 9, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on Feb. 20, 2003, and two bids were received. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha, Neb., is the contracting activity (DACA45-01-D-0006).
