McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Co., Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $59,000,006 cost plus incentive fee contract modification to provide for engineering services. Universal Technology Corp., Dayton, Ohio, is being awarded a $9,900,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide a capability to perform special focused studies in the area of air vehicle advanced aero configurations, aero configurations integration, high-speed aerodynamics, aero-thermodynamics, control theory, flight vehicle performance, flow diagnostics, flying qualities, stability and control, computational fluid dynamics and computational electromagnetics research, airframe-propulsion-stores weapons integration, aerospace vehicle demonstration, and general technical support. General Electric Aircraft Engines, Government Contracts, Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded a $27,896,100 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-award-fee contract (N00019-96-C-0176) for risk reduction efforts under the pre-system development and demonstration development phase for the F136 propulsion system for the Joint Strike Fighter Air System Program. United Technologies, Corp., East Hartford, Conn., is being awarded a $10,296,000 not-to-exceed indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the Fleet Management Program of the F-16A and F-16B aircraft based at Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center, Fallon, Nev. This effort includes the management and provisioning of organizational and depot level engine material, and depot level labor for maintenance and repair of F100-PW-220 and F100-PW-220E engines, modules, components, and spare parts assigned to these aircraft. Work will be performed in San Antonio, Texas (50%); East Hartford, Conn. (25%); and Fallon, Nev. (25%); and is expected to be completed in March 2004.
