NAVY
Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, Arlington, Va., is being
awarded an $8,597,007 ceiling-priced order for 14 types of long-
lead spares for V-22 Osprey aircraft. Work will be performed in
Ridley Park, Philadelphia, Pa., and is expected to be completed
by July 1999. Contract funds will expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively
procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa.,
is the contracting activity (N00383-97-G-002N) (Order 0002).
Kvaerner Davy Aronson, Rancho Cordova, Calif., is being
awarded a $5,231,525 firm-fixed-price contract for a Fuel Farm
with Aircraft Direct Fueling Facility at the Naval Air Facility,
El Centro, Calif. The contract will provide two additional three
million liter above ground vertical cone roof fuel storage tanks,
two 111,000 liter above ground horizontal fuel storage day tanks,
a 5m x 5m pre-engineered building control house, associated
equipment, and incidental related work. Work will be performed
in El Centro, Calif., and is expected to be completed by January
1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 67
proposals solicited and 16 offers received. The Naval Facilities
Engineering Command, Southwest Division, San Diego, Calif., is
the contracting activity (N68711-97-C-8510).
ARMY
TLT Construction Corp., Wakefield, Mass., was awarded on
March 5, 1997, a $13,797,000 firm fixed price construction
contract to renovate Dormitory Buildings 276 (22,400 sq. feet),
288 (22,400 sq. feet), 284 (24,800 sq. feet), and 286 (24,800 sq.
feet). The renovation will include all electrical, mechanical,
fire systems, site work and development, and all utilities
complete; installation of standing seam metal roofs on all four
dormitories, and construction of exterior entrances and balconies
on dormitories 284 and 286. Work will be performed at Pope
Air Force Base, N.C. Buildings 276 and 288 have an expected
completion date of May 30, 1998, and Buildings 284 and 286 have
an expected completion date of April 30, 1999. Contract funds

will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There
were 91 bids solicited on July 25, 1996, and ten bids were
received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers, Savannah, Ga. (DACA21-97-C-0011).
United Defense L.P., Steel Products Division, Anniston,
Ala., is being awarded $10,715,535 (obligated amount) of an
estimated $21,431,070 increment to a firm fixed price contract.
This is to exercise an option for conversion/upgrades of 332
vehicles within the M113 family of vehicles (254 M1064A3
vehicles, 51 M113A3 vehicles, and 27 M577A3 vehicles). Work
will be performed in Anniston**, Ala., and is expected to be
completed by March 31, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. There were five bids
solicited on Feb. 5, 1993, and five bids were received. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments
Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-93-C-A018).

Contract number DABT63-97-C-0004, announced March 5, 1997 should
have read:
Computing Analyses Corp., Arlington, Va., is being awarded a
$12,013,660 increment as part of a $43,051,484 cost plus fixed
fee contract for management information support services
(computers). Work will be performed in Arlington, Va., and is
expected to be completed by March 5, 2002. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 43
bids solicited on Aug. 15, 1996, and one bid was received. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Information Systems
Command, Fort Huachuca, Ariz. (DABT63-97-C-0004).
