AIR FORCE

Harris Corp., Melbourne, Fla., is being awarded a $11,998,336.01 firm-fixed-price and time and material contract to provide for a quantity of 117 each Warhead Replacement Tactical Telemetry (WRTTMs) applicable to the AIM-120, Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile. Also line items for rework and design obsolescence, data, Interim Contractor Support (ICS) required to maintain and repair the WRTTM, ICS required to maintain and repair the WRTTM test sets and support equipment, ICS required to perform services in support of approved engineering change proposals, ICS services and materials required for program management, ICS Services and materials required to provide quarterly, 5 days on-the-job training sessions for Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla. Personnel for the operation and maintenance of the WRTTM Test Set and Support Equipment. This effort supports foreign military sales to Taiwan. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be completed by January 2004. Solicitation began May 2002 and negotiations were completed in November 2002. The Headquarters Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., is the contracting activity (F09603-03-C-0006).

Raytheon Systems Co., El Segundo, Calif., is being awarded a $7,784,733 cost-plus fixed-fee contract to provide for design, build and demonstrate an electro-optic laser imaging system. The contractor shall develop a multi-beam 1.5 micron laser system for high resolution 2-D and 3-D imagery at long range. The ultimate goal is to integrate the individual transmit and receive fiber laser modules to form a mosaic image using advanced synthetic aperture image processing. At this time, $1,830,109 of the funds has been obligated. Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. This work will be completed by July 2004. Solicitation began June 2002 and negotiations were completed December 2002. The Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33615-02-C-1306).

Boeing Space and Communications Group, Seattle is being awarded a $5,948,357 firm-fixed-price and time and material contract modification to continue post delivery support by adding Phase IV. Post delivery support is Boeing on site technical assistance in support of Japanese Air Self Defense Forces 767 AWACS. This effort supports foreign military sales to Japan. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be completed by September 2003. Solicitation began July 2002 and negotiations were completed in December 2002. The Headquarters Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-94-C-0004, P00111).

ARMY

Guild Associates Inc., Dublin, Ohio, is being awarded a delivery order amount of $5,402,092.44 as part of a $19,617,536.84 requirements contract for 114,492 M100 sorbent decontamination systems and 10,000 mounting brackets. Work will be performed in Dublin (81 percent) and Riverhead, N.Y. (19 percent), and is to be completed by Dec. 1, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole-source contract initiated on May 15, 2001. The U.S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity (DAAD13-01-D-0012).

Hunt Building Corp., El Paso, Texas, was awarded a $16,253,421 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract to design-build, and replace family housing on Jan. 6, 2003. Work will be performed at Dover Air Force Base, Del., and is to be completed by June 9, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 45 bids solicited on Oct. 16, 2001, and one bid was received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia is the contracting activity (DACA61-02-C-0002).

NAVY

Anteon Corp., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded an $11,600,363 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-priced contract (N61339-97-C-0070) to exercise an option for one instrumentation system, the digital multi-purpose range complex to be installed at Fort Hood, Texas. The system consists of an infrastructure; range operations system; video recording and monitoring system; audio recording and monitoring system; targetry components; moving target infrastructure; vehicle player unit; player unit for dismounted soldiers; vehicle real time video transmission system; training; tools and test equipment; initial spares; installation; transition support; documentation; and common training instrumentation architecture (CTIA) development. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is to be completed in January 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Orlando, Fla., is the contracting activity.
