ARMY

Lockheed Martin Corp., Vought Systems, Grand Prairie, Texas, is being awarded a $53,780,032 firm fixed price contract for the manufacture of 530 Extended Range Multiple Launch Rocket System Rockets. Work will be performed at Camden, Ark. and Grand Prairie, Texas, and is expected to be completed Feb. 15, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was 1 bid solicited on Oct. 14, 1999, and 1 bid received. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. is the contracting activity (DAAH01-00-C-0044).

Armtec Defense Products, Inc., Coachella, Calif., is being awarded a $11,718,876 firm fixed price contract for 385,000 combustible case sets for the Modular Artillery Charge System. Work will be performed in Coachella, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was 1 bid solicited on Feb. 25, 2000, and 1 bid was received. The U.S. Army Armament RD&E Center, Picatinny Arsenal, N.J. is the contracting activity (DAAE30-00-C-1037.

United Defense, Ground Systems Division, York, Pa., is being awarded a $7,500,000 increment as part of a $11,900,000 modification cost plus award fee contract for the engineering and manufacturing development of 2 EA A3 BFIST (Bradley Fire Support Vehicle) prototype vehicles. Work will be performed in Santa Clara, Calif. and York, Pa., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on June 25, 1999. The U.S. Army Tank Automotive Command, Warren, Mich. is the contracting activity (DAAE07-99-C-M035).

Nordic Industries, Inc., Marysville, Calif., is being awarded a $4,500,00 increment as part of a $12,698,00 firm fixed price contract for the American River Watershed Project, Part II, levee strengthening of the left south bank of the American River. Work will be performed on the American River, left south bank, both in and through Yolo County and Sacramento Counties, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Feb. 1, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 88 bids solicited on Jan. 28, 2000 and 4 bids were received. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, Sacramento, Calif. is the contracting activity (DACW05-00-C-0024).

FCI Construction, Inc., Phoenix, Ariz. is being awarded a $6,877,000 firm fixed price contract for rebuilding storage for the storage of U.S. Navy Trident I rocket motors. Work will be performed at Camp Navajo, Bellemont, Ariz. and is expected to be completed by Nov. 19, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 35 bids solicited on Jan. 11, 2000, and 7 bids were received. The USFPO for Arizona, Phoenix, Ariz. is the contracting activity (DAHA02-00-C-0003).
