McDonnell Douglas Corp., Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $235,508,095 firm-fixed-price and cost-plus-incentive-fee contract modification.  This action funds the FY06 fourth quarter option for the C-17 sustainment, labor/engine, contract logistic support and materials.  At this time, total funds have been obligated.  Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8614-04-C-2004/P00106).

 

            UFC Aerospace Corp., Bay Shore, N.Y., is being awarded a $100,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide for F-16 Falcon structural augmentation roadmap modification kits to support depot installation for EPAF/USAF and foreign military sales customers.  With a total, approximately 11,000 kits will be procured under the indefinite delivery/indefinite contract (ID/IQ).  The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, although the actual requirements may be less than the amount indicated above.  At this time, $1,271,000 has been obligated.  Solicitations began January 2006 and negotiations were complete May 2006.  This work will be complete by September 2014.  Headquarters Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (FA8232-06-D-0002-0001).

 

            Jackson and Tull, Washington, D.C., is being awarded a $14,930,400 cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-reimbursable, and firm-fixed-price contract to provide for advanced research and engineering support services.  This is a follow-on effort that will provide advanced research and engineering support services on-site at the Air Force Research Laboratory PR-West.  It also provides development for rock and missile propulsion focusing research in the liquid, solid, emerging and pervasive, systems integration, A&AS acquisition management support, contract management and analysis, technologies and disciplines.  At this time, $15,000 has been obligated.  Solicitations began March 2006 and negotiations were complete June 2006.  This work will be complete by July 2009.  Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (FA9300-06-C-0024).

 

            Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Rolling Meadows, Ill., is being awarded a $9,110,032 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification.  The government intends to award an undefinitized contract action to Northrop Grumman.  The contractor shall perform the following tasks: 1) provide and deliver eight Guardian Pointer Tracker Assembly (GPTAs) units with a option for an additional eight GPTAs for System Development and Demonstration activities 2) provide one handling fixture and J-PAC for each GPTA delivery as well as sufficient quantities for consumables to support each GPTA delivered 3) provide the repair and return of GPTA systems to support government mission requirements as well as provides the labor and material necessary to perform the Line Replaceable Unit /Shop Replaceable Unit repair effort required 4) manufacture all spares procured on this contract and 5) provide over and above services to cover work authorized by the government for unanticipated engineering/technical services.  At this time, $4,555,016 has been obligated.  This work will be complete by November 2007.  Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8625-05-C-6459/P00005).

 

            Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., is being awarded a $111,954,747 firm-fixed-price with time & material and cost reimbursement contract.  This action provides for C-130J Peculiar Spares (Initial) Existing Bases: (8 kits); C-130J MATS Peculiar Spares: (1 Lot); C-130J Readiness Spares Packages Air Force (Little Rock): (1 Lot); C-130J Readiness Spares package ANG (Rhode Island): (1 Lot); WC-130J High Priority Mission Spares Kits USAFR Keesler AFBG: (1 Lot) EC-130J Quick Engine Retrofit Kit – FY06 (1 each).  At this time, $33,089,531 has been obligated.  Solicitations and negotiations were complete March 2006.  This work will be complete January 2007.  Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.  (FA8625-06-C-6456)

 

            Intelligent Software Solution, Colorado Springs, Colo., is being awarded a $49,900,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide for secure information access analysis and dissemination.  The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, although actual requirements may necessitate less than the amount above.  At this time, $435,000 has been obligated.  Solicitations began March 2006 and negotiations were complete June 2006.  This work will be complete by June 2011.  Air Force Research Laboratory, Rome, N.Y., is the contracting activity.  (FA8750-06-D-0005, order # 0001 and 0002)

 

            Kaman Dayron, Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $6,725,759 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide seven foreign military sales countries with the Joint Programmable Fuze (JPF) systems to meet their anticipated munitions requirements.  The JPF is a state-of-the-art fuze system used with precision weapon systems such as the JDAM, and equipped with variable delay settings that may be programmed manually or from the cockpit through its in-flight reprogrammability feature.  At this time, total funds have been obligated.  Solicitations began September 2005 and negotiations were complete June 2006.  This work will be complete by November 2007.  Air Armament Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity.  (F08626-98-C-0006/P00067)

 

 

            Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., was awarded on June 19, 2006, an $18,917,896 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for Unique Black Hawk helicopters (UH-60L/S-70A) for the Columbian air force.  Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2007.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on April 12, 2006.  The Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH23-02-C-0006).

 

            Ceres Caribe Inc.*, Lajas, Puerto Rico, was awarded on June 14, 2006, a $14,126,605 firm-fixed-price contract for East Bank Back Levee emergency repairs.  Work will be performed in Plaquemines Parish, La., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 16, 2006.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on May 24, 2006, and five bids were received.             General Dynamics C4 Systems, Inc., Scottsdale, Ariz., is being awarded a contract for Enhanced Mobile Satellite Services (EMSS) Gateway operations and maintenance.  The contract has a 12-month base period with one 3.4-month option period.  The total contract value of this firm-fixed-price contract is $7,270,593.00.  The EMSS services are for operational support services for the Government’s EMSS Gateway.
