DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Pride Companies, L.P.*, Abilene, Texas, is being awarded a $67,094,232 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for aviation turbine fuel, JP8. Three hundred seventeen proposals were solicited and thirty were received. Work will be performed in North Abilene, Texas; and Aledo, Texas, and is expected to be completed by April 30, 1998. Placid Refining Company*, Port Allen, La., is being awarded a $45,727,645 fixed price economic price adjustment contract for aviation turbine fuels, JP-8 and JP-5. Sun Company, Inc., Philadelphia, Pa., is being awarded a $79,469,298 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for aviation turbine fuel, JP8. Exxon Company, U.S.A (EUSA), Houston, Texas, is being awarded an estimated $368,218,534 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for aviation turbine fuel, JP8. Petroleum Traders Corp.*, Ft. Wayne, Ind., is being awarded a $43,338,640 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for motor gasoline, distillate diesel fuel and heating oil. Three hundred twenty four proposals were solicited and sixty six were received. Work will be performed in Arkansas; Florida; Georgia; Louisiana; Missouri; North Carolina; and South Carolina, and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2000. Apex Oil Company, St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $5,142,617 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for burner oil #6. Three hundred twenty four proposals were solicited and sixty six were received. Work will be performed in North Carolina and South Carolina, and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2000. ARMY

Valenzuela Engineering Inc., Santa Maria, Calif., is being awarded a $4,284,125 increment as part of a $21,420,031 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for the removal and disposal of Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) and installation of line reclosures. Appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order. Work will be performed at Edwards Air Force Base, Calif. (75%), and Air Force Plant 42, Calif. (25%), and is expected to be completed by Feb. 28, 2002. There were 67 bids solicited on March 7, 1996, and four bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Los Angeles, Calif. (DACA09-97-D-0010).

NAVY

Northrop Grumman Corp., Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded a $6,000,000 ceiling-priced order to procure 210 line item spares for the French E-2C aircraft under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Bethpage, N.Y. (10%); St. Augustine, Fla. (40%); and Melbourne, Fla. (50%), and is expected to be completed by February 2000. Contract funds would not have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00019-95-G-0050).

Hughes Missile Systems Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded an $8,680,609 modification to previously awarded contract N00019- 94-C-0257 to exercise an option for 35 Tomahawk cruise missile remanufacture of Block II to Block III submunition dispensing and conventional missiles. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by September 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Boeing Information Services, Inc., Vienna, Va., is being awarded a $54,616,612 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-award-fee contract for Federal Information Processing (FIP) Scientific Engineering Support Services and Materials. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of the entire contract to $91,135,212. Work will be performed in China Lake, Calif. (60%); Point Mugu, Calif. (35%); and White Sands, N.M. (5%), and is expected to be completed by March 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 63 proposals solicited and four offers received. The Naval Information Systems Management Center, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N68939-97-D-0003).

PRC, Inc., McLean, Va., is being awarded a $5,731,152 cost- plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for specialized engineering and logistics support services (categorized as Level II/Combat Systems and Level II/Weapon Systems services) pending the competitive award of follow-on programmatic contracts. This contract provides continuation of services from PRC, Inc., as a follow-on contract to efforts being provided under contract N00123-92-D-0253, which expires February 1997. Work will be performed at Port Hueneme, Calif., and is expected to be completed by December 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Electric Boat Corporation, Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $7,086,581 modification to previously awarded contract N00024- 91-C-4195 for Propulsion Plant Design Analysis. Work will be performed in Groton, Conn., and a date of completion is yet to be determined. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Straub Construction, Inc.,* Fallbrook, Calif., is being awarded a $9,479,700 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of one U shaped three-story Bachelor Enlisted Quarters with exterior work consisting of asphalt concrete paving; extension of existing sewer, water, underground electrical, and gas services; storm drain system; landscaping and irrigation system and incidental related work at the San Mateo Area 62, Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, Calif. Work will be performed in Oceanside, Calif, and is expected to be completed by May 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 75 proposals solicited and 11 offers received. Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, Arlington, Va., is being awarded a $16,124,500 ceiling-priced order for eight types of long lead spares for V-22 Osprey aircraft. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed by June 1999. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00383-97-G-002N) (Order 0001).

FATS, Inc., Suwanee, Ga., is being awarded a $7,620,954 modification to previously awarded contract M67854-94-C-2014 to provide 1,219 additional Indoor Simulated Weapons and manuals for the Marksmanship Trainers for the U.S. Marine Corps, Marine Corps Reserve and Army National Guard. Work will be performed in Suwanee, Ga., and is expected to be completed by September 1997. Contract funds in the amount of $7,203,209 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured by a request for proposals and three offers were received. The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

GEC-Marconi Electronic Systems Corporation, Wayne, New Jersey, is being awarded a $5,452,200 firm fixed price contract for a second production buy for the Precision Landing Systems Receiver. The contractor will assemble and test 78 PLSR B Kits for installation in the C-17 fleet. Contract is expected to be completed in approximately 10 months. Contract funds will not expire at the end of current fiscal year. The negotiations were completed in June 1997. Piquniq Management Corporation, Inc., Anchorage, Alaska, is being awarded a $7,755,469 firm fixed price contract for the exercise of a 12 month option to extend services for the period March 1, 1997 -February 28, 1998, for the operation, maintenance and support services at Eareckson Air Station, Alaska. Contract is expected to be completed in February 1998.
