(F41624-01/D-8548), are being awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracts to provide a range of environmental remediation methods and technologies over a five-year ordering period. At this time, $15,000 has been obligated to each contractor. There is a cap of $750,000,000 for all the future work that can be placed on these contracts. There were 198 firms solicited and 25 proposals received. The work will be performed at U.S. government (primarily Air Force) installations, as well as any other worldwide sites for which the Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence customers have responsibility. Raytheon Company, Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $177,279,254 firm-fixed-price contract to provide 426 AIM-120 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles, 332 spare fins, 233 warranties, four instrumentation units, two lots spares, and administration support. This effort supports the Air Force (170 missiles and 170 warranties), Navy (63 missiles, 63 warranties, 332 spare fins), and foreign military sales to Taiwan, Singapore, and Japan (193 missiles, 73 warranties, software upgrade, four instrumentation units, and administration support). The work is expected to be completed July 31, 2001. Solicitation began December 1997; negotiations were completed March 1998. Raytheon Company, Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $49,900,000 modification to previously awarded cost-plus-award-fee contract (N00024-98-C-5364) for engineering and technical services in support of the Standard Missile 3 (SM-3). Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by September 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Honeywell Aircraft Landing Systems, South Bend, Ind., is being awarded a $7,822,057 long-term requirements contract for the procurement of 2,132 rotor assemblies, 44 multiple disk brakes, 385 main wheel assemblies, 197 nose wheel assemblies, 193 carrier assemblies, and 410 hydraulic bleeder valves to support F/A-18 C/D aircraft. This contract contains an option, which if exercised, would bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $15,715,549. Work will be performed in South Bend, Ind., and is expected to be completed by December 2005. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. General Dynamics Land Systems Inc., Sterling Heights, Mich., is being awarded a $20,000,000 modification to cost-plus-fixed-fee contract DAAE07-96-C-X195 for systems technical support for the Abrams tank program to exercise existing options for engineering in support of production. Work will be performed in Sterling Heights, Mich., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 31, 2001. Of the total contract funds, $8,980,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on April 17, 1996. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.

Washington Demilitarization Co., Boise, Idaho, is being awarded a $19,745,703 modification to cost-plus-award-fee, multi-year contract DAAA09-96-C-0081 for final closure procedures at the Johnston Atoll Chemical Agent Disposal System facility. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Work will be performed at Johnston Island and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2004. This is a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 19, 1995. The U.S. Army Operations Support Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity.
