DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Washington Gas Energy Services, Herndon, Va., is being awarded a $125,796,975 firm-fixed-price type contract for electricity. Work will be performed in various U.S. military and NIH facilities in Maryland and the District of Columbia and is expected to be completed by May 2004 (Maryland) and by December 2004 (District of Columbia). Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-01-G-8020).

NAVY

Hydraulics International, Inc., Chatsworth, Calif., is being awarded a $7,468,396 modification to previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N68335-99-C-0167) to exercise an option for the Second Generation 20mm Linkless Ammunition Loading System (LALS II) consisting of Ammunition Loaders and Ammunition Replenishers. The LALS II will satisfy a United States Air Force requirement to support the M61A1/A2 gun systems in the F-15, F-16, and F-22 aircraft. Work will be performed in Chatsworth, Calif., and is expected to be completed by January 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity.

Trawick Contractors, Inc.*, Birmingham, Ala., is being awarded a $6,147,014 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a design and revitalization of up to 120 three and four bedroom enlisted housing units at the Pine Crest neighborhood at Naval Air Station, Meridian, Miss. Work will be performed in Meridian, Miss., and is expected to be completed by November 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 10 proposals solicited and four offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division, Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N68711-00-C-7027).

Ingalls Shipbuilding, Inc., Pascagoula, Miss., is being awarded a not-to-exceed $5,610,036 modification to previously awarded cost-plus-award-fee letter contract (N00024-01-C-2302) for modernization and TYCOM repairs in support of the repair and restoration of USS Cole. Work will be performed in Pascagoula, Miss., and is expected to be completed by April 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.
