General Electric Co., Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded a $601,000,000 firm-fixed-price indefinite delivery contract for approximately 1,202 engine modification kits (two per aircraft) and approximately 509 ejector nozzle kits (one per aircraft) in support of the Propulsion Modernization Program supporting the T-38 aircraft. Lockheed Martin Corp., Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $9,788,687 modification to a cost plus award fee contract to provide for the award fee for Period 17 for production and launch of the MILSTAR 4 satellite. Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif. is the contracting activity (F04701-92-C-0049-P00295).

Rockwell Collins Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded a $9,261,119 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for the initial readiness spares package, initial peacetime operating stock spares, and applicable reliability warranties for 14 line replacement units supporting the Pacer CRAG upgrade program for the KC-135 aircraft. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-00-C-0042-P00013).

Lockheed Martin Space Systems Co., Sunnyvale, Calif. is being awarded a $7,326,085 modification to a cost plus award fee contract for equitable adjustment in support of engineering and manufacturing development for the Space Based Infrared System High program. This action provides for compatibility upgrades for the ground systems operations facility and upgrade of the mission control system equipment at the contractor development facility. At this time $6,257,000 of the contract funds have been obligated. The work will be performed at Aerojet, Azusa, Calif. (60%), and Lockheed Martin Management and Data Systems, Boulder, Colo. (40%). Northrop Grumman Corp., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $6,248,110 cost plus/award fee contract (other transaction) for performance of demonstration missions by the Global Hawk unmanned aerial vehicle as part of a joint United States-Australia program. At this time $2,248,110 of the contract funds have been obligated. The work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and at locations in Australia. The Boeing Co., Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $30,000,000 firm-fixed-price level of effort bridge contract to continue essential risk reduction air system engineering activities needed to ensure a smooth transition from the Joint Strike Fighter concept demonstration phase to the engineering and manufacturing development phase. Work will be performed in Seattle, Wash. (67%); El Segundo, Calif. (14%); St. Louis, Mo. (13%); Bristol, United Kingdom (2.5%); San Diego; Calif. (1%); Glouchestershire, United Kingdom (1%); Santa Monica, Calif. (1%); and Rochester, United Kingdom (0.5%), and is expected to be completed by September 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Ft. Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $30,000,000 firm-fixed-price level of effort bridge contract to continue essential reduction engineering air system activities needed to ensure a smooth transition from the Joint Strike Fighter concept demonstration phase to the engineering and manufacturing development phase. Raytheon Co., Bedford, Mass., is being awarded a $9,469,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the Complementary Low Altitude Weapon System (CLAWS) proof of concept/production representative phase. CLAWS provides lethal low-altitude air defense with rapid deployment, high firepower, all-weather standoff capability to defeat threat aircraft, cruise missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles in global, regional, and littoral conflicts. Work will be performed in Andover, Mass.; Tewksbury, Mass.; and Tucson, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by March 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured through full and open competition solicitation via the Internet, with two offers received. The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity (M67854-01-C-2082).

The McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $6,312,000 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-incentive-fee contract (N00019-00-C-0307) for manufacture and delivery of 24 advanced mission computers and 10 5X5 Advanced Multi-Purpose Displays. These items support F/A-18D/F Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar development and test, and F/A-18E/F High Order Language Operational Flight Program development and test. Work will be performed in Minneapolis, Minn. (69%); Albuquerque, N.M. (16%); and St. Louis, Mo. (15%), and is expected to be completed by September 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

CORRECTION: The contract awarded on April 5, 2001, to General Dynamics Land Systems, Woodbridge, Va., for $6,015,465 should have stated that work will be performed in Indianapolis, Ind. (20%); Friedrichshafen, Germany (15%); Tallahassee, Fla. (15%); Tempe, Ariz. (10%); Woodbridge, Va. (10%); Scranton, Pa. (6%); East Aurora, N.Y. (4%); Muskegon, Mich. (4%); Chicago, Ill. DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Theodor Wille Intertrade GmbH, Hamburg, Germany, is being awarded a $26,443,206 firm-fixed-price, indefinite quantity type contract for full-line food distribution to various military and government activities in Northern Europe. Work will be performed in Hamburg, Germany; Bischofsheim, Germany; Suffolk, United Kingdom; New Market, United Kingdom; Petrinja, Croatia; Valdosta, Ga.; and Louisville, Tenn., and is expected to be completed by June 7, 2002. Honeywell International, Tempe, Ariz., is being awarded a $20,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for aircraft parts. ARMY

NUNA Contractors Inc.*, Anchorage, Alaska, is being awarded a $14,368,522 firm-fixed-price contract for the design and construction of an enlisted dormitory. Work will be performed at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, and is expected to be completed by July 6, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Nov. 15, 2001. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Anchorage, Alaska, is the contracting activity (DACA85-01-C-0003).

DEFENSE ADVANCED RESEARCH PROJECTS AGENCY

Uniax Corp.*, Santa Barbara, Calif., was awarded on April 5, 2001, a $7,148,504 modification to cost-shares no-fee contract MDA972-00-C-0005, for development of flexible polymer emissive displays. Work will be performed in Santa Barbara, Calif. (77%); Minneapolis, Minn. (15%); and Wilmington, Del. (8%), and is expected to be completed by May 11, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 16 bids solicited on Jan. 28, 1999, and five bids were received. The Defense Advanced Research Project Agency, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.
