ARMY

San Lucas Construction, Incorporated*, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is being awarded a $7,044,000 fixed price contract for construction of a dormitory building, an "L" shaped facility containing two wings and a common use building. The exterior will be brick and precast concrete, aluminum windows with insulated glass, a standing seam roof, and a glass canopy at the entrance to the common building. The interior of the building will be of non-combustible construction and have a sprinkler system. Work will be performed at McGuire Air Force Base, New Jersey, and is expected to be completed by June 16, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 38 bids solicited on February 16, 1995, and 10 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York, New York (DACA51-95-C-0034).

Actus Corporation/Sundt Corporation, a joint venture, Napa, California, is being awarded a $14,527,000 firm fixed price contract for the design/construction, demolition and replacement of 148 family housing units. The project includes 2, 3, 4, and 5 bedroom Junior NCO and Senior NCO housing units and all associated site development, infrastructure, and recreation facilities. Work will be performed at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by April 30, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 89 bids solicited on June 27, 1994, and 2 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah, Georgia (DACA21-95-C-0038).

Logicon R&D Associates, Los Angeles, California, is being awarded a $5,829,503 modification to a cost plus award fee contract for continuing and new-start scientific and engineering technical assistance to the Defense Nuclear Agency technology base program and will provide support involving the full range of agency functions and missions, i.e., develop standardized methodology to assess aircraft crashes at Department of Energy facilities in conjunction with on-going B-52H Weapon System Safety Assessment, NBC hazard analysis in

war gaming and exercises; Radiation Testing Users' Handbook, counterproliferation projects, etc. Work will be performed in Alexandria, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by August 1, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated in March 1993. The contracting activity is the Defense Nuclear Agency, Washington, D.C. (DNA001-93-C-0138).

Martin Marietta Corporation, Management & Data Systems Division, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is being awarded a $5,512,739 increment as part of a potential value $12,269,132 cost plus award fee contract to provide systems integration support for research and development, operations and maintenance, and other related modernization efforts revolving around the Defense Mapping Agency's (DMA) Digital Production System. Systems integration support shall be provided for Headquarters DMA, and the three DMA Production Centers; DMA Hydrographic Topographic Center, DMA Aerospace Center, and DMA Reston Center. Work will be performed in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania (66%), Reston, Virginia (26%), St. Louis, Missouri (5%), and Bethesda, Maryland (3%), and is expected to be completed by December 31, 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on August 8, 1994. The contracting activity is the Defense Mapping Agency, Washington, D.C. (DMA800-95-C-8014).

Ellis-Don Construction, Incorporated, Norcross, Georgia, is being awarded a $10,436,940 firm fixed price contract for construction of a new medical/dental facility. The project will provide a three-level structure of approximately 74,451 square feet. Thirteen existing semi-permanent facilities will be demolished for site availability. Work will be performed at Fort McPherson, Georgia, and is expected to be completed by December 1, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 88 bids solicited on December 27, 1994, and 4 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah, Georgia (DACA21-95-C-0044).

Metric Constructors, Incorporated, Marietta, Georgia, is being awarded a $27,342,985 firm fixed price contract for construction of a U.S. Army Reserve Command and Control Building. The project consists of a new multistory headquarters building (approximately 218,000 square feet) which includes administrative office space, data processing areas, conference rooms, a cafeteria, and a multi-deck parking structure for 600 parking spaces. Work will be performed at Fort McPherson, Georgia, and is expected to be completed by May 1, 1997. Of the total contract funds, $585,193 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 97 bids solicited on December 27, 1994, and 7 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah, Georgia (DACA21-95-C-0053).

NAVY

Ceridian Corporation, Computing Devices International, Bloomington, Minnesota, is being awarded a $5,439,003 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-94-C-0046 for the procurement of 18 CP-2213 mission computers, associated spares, integrated logistics support, 14 operational test program sets, reliability and maintainability/system/safety/training programs, and associated technical data for the F-14 aircraft upgrade program. Work will be performed in Bloomington, Minnesota, and is expected to be completed by December 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

United Technologies Corporation, Pratt and Whitney Government Engine and Space Propulsion, West Palm Beach, Florida, is being awarded a $17,564,326 face value increase to a cost-plus-fixed-fee (completion) contract for design, fabrication and testing of advanced technologies required by the Integrated High Performance Turbine Engine Technology program. Contract is expected to be completed March 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Negotiations were completed February 13, 1995. The Wright Laboratory Center, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio is the contracting activity (F33615-91-C-2118/P00034).

Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), San Diego, California, is being awarded a $13,406,704 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract procures automated data processing support through 30 September 1995 for United States Central Center. The work will be performed at Headquarters, United States Central Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida. Contract is expected to be completed September 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. One hundred fifty (150) bids were issued and four (4) proposals were received. The solicitation was issued in 23 August 1993 and negotiations were completed 3 January 1995. The 6th Air Base Wing (ACC), MacDill Air Force Base, Florida is the contracting activity (F08602-95-DC001).

PEMCO Aeroplex Incorporated, Birmingham, Alabama, is being awarded a $5,772,987 firm-fixed-price contract for programmed depot maintenance for five KC-135 aircraft and drop-in depot maintenance for additional KC-135 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed September 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Headquarters Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (AFMC), Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma is the contracting activity (F34601-94-C-0664-P00023).
