ARMY
United Defense, Limited Partnership, Ground Systems Division, Santa Clara,
California, is being awarded a $5,726,881 modification to a cost plus fixed fee
contract to exercise the option for systems technical support for the M113
family of vehicles. Work will be performed in San Jose**, California, and is

modification to a firm fixed price contract for replacement of C batteries in
2,000 selected TOW, TOW 2A, I-TOW, and practice TOW Missiles. Work will be

McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company, Mesa, Arizona, is being awarded a
$23,250,000 modification to a cost plus incentive fee contract; an increase in
funds to cover cost-growth in order to complete the remaining efforts on the
AH-64D Longbow Apache engineering and manufacturing development (EMD) phase of
the program. In addition, to support the flight test program for 6 prototype
AH-64D aircraft during initial operator test and evaluation (IOTE), the
Prototype Longbow Crew Trainer, Embedded Global Positioning System/Inertial
Navigation Unit, the Electronic Countermeasures Systems (ECS), and
producability/planning efforts. Work will be performed in Mesa, Arizona, and
is expected to be completed by September 30, 1995. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract
