ARMY
Allied Signal Engines, Stratford**, Connecticut, is being awarded a
$20,548,000 modification to a firm fixed price contract for 80 AGT 1500 turbine
engines for M1A2 Abrams Tank production for Kuwait. Work will be performed in
Stratford, Connecticut, and is expected to be completed by August 30, 1995.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is
a sole source contract initiated in February 1993. The contracting activity is
the U.S. Army Tank Automotive Command, Warren, Michigan (DAAE07-93-C-A030).
AIR FORCE
Hughes Training, Incorporated, Arlington, Texas, is being awarded a
$5,275,036 firm-fixed-price contract for update of four F-16C trainers from the
Block 25B configuration to a Block 30B/E configuration. Contract is expected
to be completed February 1997. Contract funds will expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. The solicitation was issued in November 1993 and
negotiations were completed in February 1995. This contract is in support of
Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to Turkey. The Aeronautical Systems Center,
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio is the contracting activity
(F33657-85-C-0028/P00034).
